rugerglocker 2
People like this piss me off, from local classified ad website : http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=9862949&cat=535&lpid=1 Hopefully no one is dumb enough to buy from him. I think MikeD should figure out who this guy is and charge him $160. Feel free to click the green "email seller" button to tell him how lame he is. You just fill out a form and don't have to use your real email. I guess people do this all the time on GB so I'm freakin' out for no reason, oh well.
Wade Pruetz 103
Not cool but a few folks at the last gun show in Houston were still trying to sell them for $260.00 . Buyer beware is my motto.

havok 21
I just sold one of my NIB drurms I paid $260 for $150. I guess that makes me a dirtbag too for selling a brand new drum for $110 less then what I paid for it?

I guess that makes me a dirtbag too for selling a brand new drum for $110 less then what I paid for it? Different situation, this guy obviously has them on Mike's pre-order for $100. This is what is so cheesy to me, if he had drums in hand, sure why not sell em for $160 because even Mike does not have em in hand. But to charge $60 just for filling out a web order, for a waiting the same amount of time as if they placed the order on their own, cmon. Oh well like you guys said, free market and all, and there sure is not a shortage of stupid people out there.
rugerglocker 2
This freakin guy is probably on here reading this. I think that's funny. Or he could be one of the ones crying free market up there^^^ People on that classified site are known for buying all the Blazer 9mm @ Walmart for $8.97/box, going on the site and putting it up for $15/box. It pisses me off, people like this are causing the shortages for the rest of us. Edited March 15, 2010 by rugerglocker
RobRez 1,895
Somtimes a can of Coke cost 50 cents, sometimes a Coke cost $3.50. If someone is smart enough to get em' cheap from Mike, That's great, But a lot of lazy ignorant people want to spend money too. What's wrong with taking their money? All someone has do do is push a few buttons on a computer to find a better deal. Not too hard. I'd totally sell my MD 20's for more than I paid if someone was willing to pay. Heck, they can have my S12 for $2500!!!

Nothing wrong with making money, except when I try go to Walmart or somewhere else for that matter to buy some 9mm to go shoot w/ friends and we can't find any even when we call all over the city. And I'm not gonna pay $15/box for FMJ 115 grain to ANYONE. All because some asshats got the bright idea to buy it all up because they think stupid people that surf the web classifieds will pay more. People that surf the web looking for deals probably won't pay more than they should because they are looking for deals in the fist place, duh! So you get a bunch of hoarders just sitting on ammo, mags, etc., when people that actually want to use these goods can't find them because the stuff is sold out everywhere. Same analogy with Mike's drums, although I'm not too concerned because it sounds like he has ~1K. But I'd be pissed if I couldn't get one when he has 5 that he won't sell or even use for that matter. I'll just be glad when all this guns/ammo/accessory/ panic is over, end of rant.

Maybe if we set all kinds of laws and limits and taxes, maybe there would be more ammo for all, comrade? I'm just joking with you. So what, he's price gouging people. Don't buy from him. Simple fix. RobRez 1,895
This sort of stuff seems to happen anytime you see a "Going out of business sale". If you know your prices, you notice that a lot of items have grossly over-inflated prices with 20% off. A local store around here is doing that. As soon as they started "going out of business" a box of that same 9mm ammo, 50 rounds, was suddenly $17.99!!! Oh, but they'll give you 20% off! The only advice I can offer besides not buying from a DB, is to try and save up for a gun show and try to buy ammo in bulk. I have started doing this and it really pays off in the long run. Anytime I want to go shoot, I go shoot without any stop at a store. Ammo is much less expensive that way. I know it can be hard to save up a few hundred bucks and throw it all down on ammo at once, but in my opinion it really works out the best.

Check out www.ammo-engine.com Lol this coming from the guy w/ M.K. as his avatar and who most likely shoots RUSSIAN made COMMIE guns . And I thought the panic was dying down too, until me and 8 friends tried to get some 9mil @ walmart the other day. We called 4-5 in the area, all said no fed./blazer 9mm cheap stuff (can't buy in bulk for much cheaper than WM anyway @ least for 115g FMJ, unless its steel cased ). And I do buy in bulk for myself, but this was a bunch of us shooting my guns and they said they were buying the ammo. They spent $350+ (Birdshot and .223). Then I had to drive back home to dig into my stash of 9 (I mostly have 147g for the old Trident), and as I knew, the cheap bastards they are they didn't get me back for it. Anyway I've seen the ads for wally world 9mm on that classified site, that's why this stings me so bad, its the same thing this guy is doing w/ the drum. He's probably the clown buying up all the walmart ammo and selling it on KSL. And I'm usually w/ you Rob, no store on the way to the range. But this was an out-of-hand too-many-people cluster-fuck range trip. Alot of my ammo is kinda specialty stuff too. That's it, I'm not even gonna come back to look at this post. Don't even know why I bothered writing that^^^. Edited March 16, 2010 by rugerglocker

wired 27
I sold all the ones I bought for $125 for $180 each . Never even loaded them . Then I had the gall to order more at $100 each. Should I feel bad?
