Cadiz Gun Works 12 Gauge Recoil Reducer Sneak Peek

Recommended Posts

Well, we figured we would tease you guys a little bit, and put a quick picture up of the CGW 12 gauge recoil reducer.

These thread onto the factory threads of your 12 gauge Saigas, all steel construction, and reduces felt recoil by 50%. Very heavy duty design and manufacture, 3 piece design.

If you want to get in on the first orders, they are 200$ plus shipping, and be sure to mention you saw this thread to get on that list.

Looks like ya ported a can body from your modular suppressor... so I guess it would weigh about 1 1/2 lbs right? I guess the weight alone would reduce muzzle flip quite a bit, not sure if you could line up the sights over it though.

I'd like to see a video of a gun with and without one installed similar to Nailbomb's warthog test. 50% is pretty significant for a shotgun brake, does this include all types of ammo or just slugs and buckshot? Any pics of one installed on a gun?

The top of barrel is about an inch lower than the sights so that thing would have to be HUGE to block anything....

Well , I started out with an old 1qt tomato juice can................LOL...

But now I'm working with the same body as the suppressor, actually I figured out the same patent covers the recoil reducer. It is 1 7/8 ths diameter and 3 3/4 inches long, just under 1 lb. It consists of three pieces of machined steel, so production cost sucks.

Yepp its a pig, but it works. I'll have to see what I can do about a video test.

Who wants to be the crash test dummy for a liteweight pot metal model instead of the milspec one ?

Current suppressor customers are being offered a real discount, for their patience with NFA branch paperwork.............:sadam:.....

umm, looks heavy....did you guys get a weight?

It's on here already, but it's right at 1 lb...

I guess I should bring up the fact that this thing is all steel and can be used when breeching to get your stand-off.
