catswold 3
Looks like Izmash is headed in a different direction than a lot of us would like. Found these on Renaissance of Saiga Notice the relocation of the safety to the front of the trigger guard. Don't really care for this.

Don't really care for this. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> the new style is not really my thing, but i do like the factory rear peep sight. Been wanting one of those for w while. Got plans to make one as soon as i get my replacement rec cover in. I just like the apeture style sights better, and they provide a longer sight radius, which is cool too
KySoldier 2
Almost reminds me of a 10/22. As long as these rifles aren't the ONLY thing they make in the future, I'm OK with it.
icarus 3
They're still making the "normal" Saigas. Here is Izhmash's web site. http://www.izhmash.ru/eng/ They really have quite a bit of products.

dannytoro 3
.........I'd much rather see them allowed to import some of these, but the ATF still keeps saying no. In fact I'd kill all of you and your brothers to get one in 9.3 X 64 brennke.......sighhhhhhhh (Also available in weak 7.62 x 54mm or even paltrier .308) Edited November 6, 2005 by dannytoro

G O B 3,516
Saiga makes that style in .30-06, with a beautifull walnut stock. I used to have the pix before my old 'puter died, but I posted it several times so it is here somewhere. G O B
