Leave on your desk and tell everyone it's your letter opener. -
LOL Been there, done that. I had so many dealers/ shop owners try to tell me crap of what's legal and not. Everything from you cant build an AK from parts kits, to you cant cut a Mosin barrel down to 16", a pistol grip on a Mossberg 500 is for law enforcement only. Oh the horror of those guys. But on the same token, those places seem to be the ones that dont know how to price some toys. I've stolen some nice rifles from those folks. F'n FUDDs

CNY FUN SHOOT III

Hmmmm, bringing guns to a shoot? LOL Isn't that the point? Showing off toys and rounds down range. -
That's all you need. I built my own flat reciever jig for bending them, trigger guard rivet jig. I use a ball joint puller to get the barrel out of the trunion. All in all, easy hand tools. Building AK's from kits has the biggest advantage of saying " This is my rifle, I built it." Not bought and converted, BUILT. I like them, sweet and clean.

nice. what reciever? finish? come on you cant just post a pic of a build without a story. killing me...

Who polices the police?
akastormi replied to akastormi's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
Thank you, I cant quite grasp what's worse. The over all of what was done, or the way he came about the items. Removing firearms from an evidence room, even to transfer for distruction. There had to be others that knew he was doing that. The police have paper work up the shitter, and trasfer of ownership through the process to the steel mill they melt them down at has to be something. -
I'll never go back to the Albany show. It's inside the city limits; Laws state "no assault weapons in the city", not even a gunshow. Last time I was there the statetroopers out numbered the general public, every entrance, every isle. They gave one table extra attention for having AK parts and a M-60 barrel assembly. It's on the second floor of the convention center so the bulk ammo guys dont set up due to weight restrictions. The whole show has kinda gone down to collector guns, antiques, and shotties. Never, never, never again will I drive hours to that show. I'll drive to the Rochester sho

It's idiots and a**holes that are gonna cause the death of my hobbies. This one cop is in the WTF section of my mind. The above the law aditude I see to often kills me. Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A former Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office firearms instructor has been indicted on numerous illegal weapons charges. Mark Doneburgh 60, of the town of Onondaga, was indicted on charges including two counts of criminal sale of a firearm, six counts of fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon, and first degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was also charged with third and fourth deg

In the pocket all the time is a Gerber Ridge Clip folder. In the truck is a Mil issue 600 series Gerber multi- tool. Back up that i like is my Cold Steel AK-47. -
Yugoslavia has no natural nickel deposts for chrome. They were standoffish to big brother Russia along with Poland and Czechoslovakia. To chrome line barrels they need nickel from Russia, and refused to buy.

Opening up a reciever and trunion for a double stack mag from a single isn't really that hard. 2 GOOD reamers from the tool store and a dremel was all I needed. I used the reamers in my drill press.
