    an easier but not as original way to go would be a tapco galil ak handguard ace galil style folder and pg and krebs gb fsb combo and galil top cover.

    recently they started importing drums made in china but marked with romanian markings that are wind up style.

    since there is two different barrel ods on the 308 at the muzzle. would there be a difference in the fsb sizes and will it work right on both?

    the apex kits come with a us made barrel dnt believe they are chrome lined.

    they all use the same size parts furniture wise and gas tube will need to be slighly modded. the only drop in triggers for the 308 are dinzags and the rsa 308 trigger.

    its always a good idea to put some rounds through it before converting.

    i dont know if it will work because it mounts to an ar like a standard fixed stock you would probably need some kind of different adapter i havent seen before.

    i recently came across a company that makes ak wood named jadnil enterprises. Wondering if anybody here has done buisness with them before.

    because beyond milspec 556 ak mags with bg and surefire mags your gonna have a hard time with reliability.

    bill ruger must be rolling in his grave using word such as ak and ar to decribe a gun his company makes.

    wait never mind i didnt read carefully enough if your getting light primer strikes you may have a broken firing pin.

    i used a standard half round file using the flat side to do mine fit just fine.

    its an ok stock not the greatest but works just fine and yes it a compliance part.
