  1. hammering it will be a very difficult way to remove it. the best way will be to rig up a way to press it out either with a c clamp, bench vise or a press.
  2. is there a new drum with your new sights.
  3. making a retainer for the other calibers is pretty easy do to them havin pretty standard od. the 308 will be difficult due to the heavier barrel.

  6. use the tool that came with your saiga to unscrew the front sight.
  7. first time i did one it shot out and put a hole in my wall.
  8. best bet would probably be nuts welded on the inside and bolts with little handles that you can twist off by hand that stay on the magwell and dont fall out of it.

  12. the saiga has no upper handguard are you reffering to the gas tube.
  13. I seen somebody use an rpd front sight dont know how well the sights lined up but it fit.
  14. It appears to be a bolt on that needs the rear tang removed.

  17. i beleive also the mc uses a .311 bullet and the bb uses a .310 bullet.
  18. swapping from steel case to brass is non ak issue for the most part due to a more than generous chamber.
  19. whats the yellow one going to be and why no barrel assemblies.
  20. also the ruskies never made a 5.56 ak with a threaded barrel just the fsb with 24mm threads.
  21. only one way to find out is remove the shroud. but ive never seen a 223 with factory threaded barrel.

  23. the saiga m3 is built just like a standard 308 and will have the same safety problems when converted.
