    That's true, there are a shit ton of cheap mags that will make the AR FTF. I use PMAGs and LOVE them, they are right up there with HK mags and at 1/4th the cost.

    lol. I know most AK owners are biased towards their AKs and same with AR owners, I don't care I own and love all platforms. The guys was a carbine so probably wasn't setup with the right buffer or something quirky, midlength and riflelength gas systems are way more reliable than the carbine.

    Obviously just a crappy build and not broken in. None of my ARs jam.

    Knowing how to cook and cooking is alot different that sitting in front of the tv watching the Food Network like a woman.

    I have plenty of people ask to go shooting with me too but I always ask them "So what do you want to shoot? ARs, AKs, Snipers, Pistols?" Then when they tell me I tell them "Ok well let me know how many rounds you want to shoot because ammo costs X and either you need to bring your own or I'll buy it for you" At that point they usually never get back to me which is great.

    was thinking about trying to cast my own slugs and shot but i can't find lead for cheap, prices on midway come out to 0.25$ a slug, might as well just buy them at that price!

    So cheapest is around 0.75 a slug, does anyone here reload their own slugs? Was in the reloading forum and not too much info there on reloading slugs, but it doesn't seem like it would be too much of a cost savings would it?
