  1. New trigger group to up your 922r count would be a plus. "Some people say I have issues." ~ME
  2. Dixie Terminator + Dixie Tri-Ball: the only slug/buckshot combo for home defense. (and if you don't know what I'm talking about google dixie slugs.) "Some people say I have issues." ~ME
  3. I thought the guy who got shot in Basic had some pretty nasty gaping. (And for all of you idiots in the world, please clear the chamber BEFORE you start cleaning and decide to squeeze the trigger to let the hammer go forward for "easier disassembly" Yeah you can bet that went over well with the Drill Sergeant. It wouldn't even have been too bad if he hadn't decided to have the muzzle pointing at the guy next to him. Try explaining that one to your parents on graduation day.) 4. So I have a niche for liking color variation amongst my weapons for one reason or another. Anyway, long story short, what finish is the most durable (don't care about shine, or texture) and what gunsmith offers the best price on it? I could do it myself but that would require more time that I have in a day to prep my apartment for such a thing...thanks for the help. If you really think I should do it myself please list materials needed and why (I am not the most industrious person, although I am pretty handy). Thanks "Some people say I have issues." ~ME
  5. Heh...All three of mine are from March of 2008, and two have four holes, and one has three. Strangely up to this point even the three hole cycles low brass and high brass just fine. .
  6. Heh...shoot 3" Federal Rifled Slugs all of the time out of mine. Just make sure you have the right gas setting on.... "Some people say I have issues." ~ME
  7. Mehhh...easy solution is to just move to another state. Go east and south, that way you can have whatever you like. Oh and stop before you get to Florida. "Some people say I have issues." ~ME
  8. He is permanently affixing it which means that it would be legal as long as including the shark brake it is 18" or above. "Some people say I have issues." ~ME
  9. Homina homina it will compliment the m203 on my m16 "Some people say I have issues." ~Me
  10. That's not too bad, as long as he doesn't buy an M1 Abrams you should be good . One interesting thing though, Knob Creek range not far from where I live is selling 7.62 x 51, 147gr steel core penetrator for 7.99 per bag of 20. That's only $.39 per round which means it will only cost him $1170 per minute to feed it. Not too bad "Some people say I have issues." ~ME
  11. Yes, but is in limited run. Concept was great but the production cost is high. The current patent owner is Military Police Systems, Inc. Only ten were produced in the latest run and all of them are owned by the Marine Corps. The new version has had 188 changes made from the original and has experienced the same thing every mag fed semi/full auto shotgun up to the saiga had issues with, feeding with certain types of low brass, that sort of thing. The newer designs are only made to run on slug, buckshot, or FRAG-12. Plus the lack of interest in it initially hindered production. The majority of a
  12. 250-660k is a little steep, if your in the market go to http://www.subguns.com. You can find one for under 250k Of course finding a dealer to sell an average civilian a grenade is damn near impossible. Think of the liability of it, man comes home and finds his wife cheating on him, bad enough he can go buy an AK or an AR to do the job, no he decides to go to his safe an pull out his m203 with LIVE 40mm HE grenades. Talk about a mess Hey you can find a Ma-Deuce (M2 .50 cal) for under 45k and will do the job just as clean.
  13. Yes they are fully transferable, but finding someone willing to accept the liability is a little difficult to do. On top of which finding any U.S. made grenades are damn near impossible. Russian ones are findable, but there is the little Afghan war problem. During the Afghan-Russian conflict, the Russians had a problem with the Afghani's raiding supply lines. So they would put two numbers on each grenade box corresponding to slots in the box. Those two grenades were instant detonation grenades. The moment you pulled the pin they went boom. Why you ask? Because if you read Russian you would jus
  14. No, they were discontinued. And even if new ones were made the 1986 Ban prevents civilians from owning a weapon that fires more than one round upon squeezing the trigger that was not registered by May of 1986. Meaning the only machine guns us non-manufacturing or non-dealer licensed civilians can have are at least 23 years old. Sucks don't it? and even Class-3 dealers can only have ones from post-1986 with a letter from the chief of a police department, on department letterhead requesting one for demo purposes. Then the dealer has to perform a documented demo of the weapon. Then the weapon sta
  15. Here is just a few minor details. If manufactured properly and under the correct licensing they would be legal, however, being that they are shrapnel creating explosives, a tax stamp is required. Here is the big kicker, when a civilian buys a grenade, each one is considered a destructive device, and therefore a $200 tax stamp is required for each one. The device used to shoot them could also then be classified as a D.D. and therefore a $200 stamp COULD be charged to own the device as well. For example I own a 40mm Knights Armament m203 launcher attachment for the m16. I needed a tax stamp for
  16. So I'm browsing for some ammo online and I find this website http://www.dixieslugs.com. I know their slugs are only good for rifled barrels, but what about their tri-ball. Three 300 grain buckshot balls should be pretty potent downrange, and would make for excellent defense against any body armored deer or squirrel . On a serious note though, has anyone tried this stuff? Thanks all. "Some people say I have issues." ~ME + = + =

  18. There are some things I could do like drilling gas ports, but there are things on an AK I would not dare to touch...they are hard enough to find as it is, the last thing I want is to chop a hole in a perfectly good piece of Russian steel. Oh, and thanks to everyone who brought up customer service, that is a huge issue I completely overlooked, and one that I really would like in a seller... 19. So here I am with my stack of s12's and a tax return check coming on the way, and I thought to myself hey time to convert before the Gestapo comes to my house. Who here has actually had an s12 converted by a pro/am-pro gunsmith? Please be discreet, no flaming, no opinions, just work quality please... I know Tony Rumore does good work but I don't have until 2011, ergo please offer alternatives...whatever gunsmith I choose will have 5 saigas headed their way, so please assist. Thank-you. Oh and please offer a brief description if possible as to what was done to your gun ~ price for me is not a p
  20. Mehhhh...Kentucky not allowing mag manufacturing...Sacriledge! The state with total state preemption of firearms laws, open carry with no permit, and glove box conceal carry with no permit is not a Nazi state...backwoods, but not Fascist. Maybe they thought you were in California or someplace like that. Anyway, I love this state, I even found a civilian transferable minigun for sale at my local C3 dealer...of course I didn't have the money for it though . Back on topic though...no it's not illegal, just hard.... + = + = "Some people say I have issues." ~ME
