I'd buy ammo. You have an excellent, durable, capable weapon of each type all from good makes with plenty of options in popular calibers, the .40 or another lower seem redundant. the drum is SWEET but really....10 12 gauge slugs will take care of more than plenty. I'd save your money and use it to get ammo instead.

normally I hate your guts, but I gotta agree with you on this one. Nalioth is easily the biggest jerkwad I've ever met on the internet. Thanks a lot for the help guys. I ended up buying the regular milsurp AK/SKS sling off Cheaper Than Dirt - $8 and a set of QD swivels. I had to drill out the hole a little wider on my rear sling stud for them to fit. In the end, the thing looks great, works great, and judging by the looks of it I don't think they were kidding when they said it lasts a lifetime.

Off topic I know, but I bought an ATI Dragunov SVD style stock for my 10/22, looks great and was only $40. I was thinking maybe trying to paint parts of it to give the gun more of the SVD look. If I mess up and it looks terrible I could always just buy another stock. Any suggestions? Eh, lookin at the shape of this thing it probably would look terrible.
