  1. I want some 2 round extensions for my Izhmash 8 round mags, adding an extension to the 5 rounder would just look gay IMO, but better than no 8 or 10 round mags.
  2. What is the country of origin of your rail system? Excellent question, I assumed until now that they were made in the USA and counted as 1 U.S. part (forearm/handguard)
  3. SWEET! I'm number 7 on the list and will be getting mine soon. Thanks for the update.
  4. I'll be there working the booth for the company I work for: Action Target, we are the largest shooting range and target manufacturer in the U.S. Actiontarget.com
  5. I want some for 8 and 10 round mags, not for the 5 round mags, that is a waste IMO.

    Saiga Buffer?

yep, I've been using the BlackJack buffer in my Saiga 12 for 3 years now. No problems.
  7. All of you can rest easy about PvtPyle and FBMG. I somewhat know Larry his business partner (he was my CCW instructor) and he is a standup guy. He is very respected in the firearms community here in Utah, they are enthusiasts and are in it for the good of the sport not to gouge their customers or anyone else. I spoke with Larry for 10 minutes about Saiga 12's at the last gunshow here, he and I both had Saiga 12's and 8 round Izhmash mags for a few years now, he is devoted to Saigas to use in 3 gun competition. I like to claim that I had one of the first legally converted Saiga 12's.
  8. I would like to know as well. I have drooled a bunch over the billet mag extensions that those Finnish Saiga 12 guys made for their mags.
  9. The Tapco SAW grip has great ergonomics AND it counts as a U.S. part. I just wish that it was made of a rubber or grippier type material than hard plastic. I have now replaced my Tapco SAW PG's with real Izhmash Saiga pistol grips, they are even more ergonomic and look great.
  10. I've got a converted 19" threaded barrel Saiga that has been perfect with its different chokes. I've been debating whether to get another Saiga 12 but with a 24" barrel to be used for small game hunting. I just don't know if they have a full choke, open choke or improved cylinder. I guess I could always have it threaded for internal U.S. chokes. I just feel that an extra 5" of barrel length would allow me to reach out better than my 19" does. My 19" has done reasonably well with full and improved cylinder chokes, but I do notice a slight disadvantage to my friends with their 28" barrel pu
  11. Very cool and good news. I have to say that I would pay way more for the Halo rail system than that Ultimak, but it's not finished yet either so maybe it will look different when its done. I'm sure it is at least very functional.
  12. A guy named T56 posted this over on gunsnet: He's got 116 posts, so he's likely not a troll. I'll post a link to this site for him.
  13. If I had a buck for every Saiga owner that said they were planning to design, market and manufacture a new part, I could probably buy the whole Izhmash factory and have all the Saiga 12 SWATs I wanted. All kidding aside, I do wish you luck in designing a rail system and I will most certainly buy one if you can make it. I am just really skeptical because I have seen dozens of people post on these forums asking how many would be interested in Saiga 12 mags, Saiga .308 mags/conversions, bolt hold opens, etc., and very little to nothing has happened. Now...I am really excited to see the t

    Mag-wells

I found some more pictures of the SWAT magwell and magazine for reference: Page is all in Russian: http://talks.guns.ru/forummessage/43/101959.html
  15. I would be happy to have some of those Magpul/Magazine extensions for my Saiga 8 round mags, those extended baseplates/magpuls look too cool. Are they homemade or is there someone in Finland manufacturing them?
  16. Take the mag apart and file down a rim around the window to the thickness of the material being used, 1/4" border, then when you glue it it should be flush. Damn, that's so hard to explain, I'm confused myself. Did that make any sense? You know what I mean? Or you could cut a slot in the side of the follower so that it doesn't make contact with the window. Actually, you would have to do that regardless, because if you don't, the follower will rub the window and mar it up all to hell. Damn, I'm dizzy. You mean he should countersink the lexan plastic so that the m
  17. I don't think it will fit 410, but if intrest continues we may manufacture it and 7.62 Anyone that has been put on the waiting list, info will be sent to you soon. Were waiting on final numbers before production. Thanks Again Everyone !!! Thanks, we're all really excited. For what it's worth, I would buy at least 1 rail in 7.62 if you made them and I'm sure you'd sell many more in 7.62 than for Saiga 12's.
  18. Oh well, looks like he does come through. My 2 Saiga 12 Izhmash pistol grips came today after ordering them in August of 2004 (yes 2004). To his credit, Andrei replaced the earlier confiscated shipment at his own expense and always promptly responded to any emails that I sent him. I would order from him again, but only if there were no other reliable/faster source for the parts I needed and I REALLY needed them.
  19. Build the rail the way it is, I think these sights will be better than most that are out there and it will allow mounting a red dot scope or other sighting device out on the front of the barrel for faster aiming.
  20. I have an ACE Galil pistol grip for sale. YOu have a PM
  21. Emailed my contact info to reserve (1) Saiga 12 rail system
