  1. Very cool! I'd buy one or three!!! Nice job.
  2. Thanks Moe. Sorry, I was being lazy and just threw it up there for a friend. I enjoyed the sarcasm though! I deserved it.
  3. What is the shortest length you can go before you have to move the gas block?
  4. Cobra has pics. Check out his area in this forum, or I 'm sure he'll point you in the right direction soon.
  5. I got mine in the mail today, just like to say that this is a very nice addition to my Saiga! Great workmanship, a very high quality product and It just look sweet! Thanks Tromix! Also, like nailbomb said, as ALWAYS like clock work, never fails Greg at CCS and his shipping are the best I have ever seen. I ordered it Thursday night, and there it was in my mailbox this morning and I'm in Reno, Nevada! For 9$ shipping you can't beat it.
  6. I've got one and it's wobbly too. I called and talked to Greg at CSS and he said that is the way they are and that there other cheaper folding mechs are alot tighter. I also had a little buyers remorse just cause that little piece is spendy and could of got the less expensive model that apparently locks up better in the folded position as well as extended. As far as the push button folding mech, in the extended position mine locks up snug because there is a little set screw that you can adjust to have stick out to make up for the slack. I would also be interested to see DPH's design.
  7. I was wondering if there is a difference between Chaos gas piston and KA's gas tappet as far as performance is concerned? I'm sure you probably can't go wrong with either but, was just curious.
  8. I like mine, I think it looks good on my Saiga. Nice job and thank you, Cobra.
  9. Thanks guys for all of the ideas, I'm looking towards something without pockets on the outside. I'm digging the pelican case as well as that price! Still kinda pricey but, not compared to the normal prices you see for those. Thanks for the link. A soft case also would be in order though. I will let you know what I end up with and again thanks for all the info guys!
  10. I've been looking for a nice case for the range but, nothing has made me jump, so was just wondering what others have been using???
  11. Yeah, UPS ground seems to take forever.
  12. I have ordered everything to do my conversion and then some from Greg and I would just like to say, nothing but top notch! I'm one of those people that once I order something online I can't wait for it to come in the mail and it just irritates me when the company your ordering from just kinda "gets around to it." I'm sure some of you can relate when you even pay for faster shipping and still they end up sucking ass somehow. Well, I have to commend CSS for always shipping my parts out like clock work. Great communication, no lag, no delays, nothing but, great customer service! I would recomme
  13. Definitly in for a 10-12 round drum. My only suggestion/request would be steel reinforced like the izmash factory mags.
  14. Hey ripper great tutorial by the way! I've got a quick question for you, in the pic of the S12 with the ace folding mech when you fold it to the side, does it have a little play and sway side to side with about a 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch of movement in the locked position? I ask this because the one I got yesterday does and I was just wondering if this is just the way they are. Thanks.
  15. You said: "People who have that little confidence in a "plastic" S-12 mag, don't have enough experience with them to warrant my attention." My Response: I have enough experience with them to know that EVERY MAKE OF THESE S12 MAGS HAS THEIR OWN PROBLEMS! Hell, even with standard AK mags the only poly-mags that are really worth a crap are the Bulgarian circle 10's, these S-12's are pretty much an AK that fires 12 gauge rounds... You said: "It's not like it's going to revolutionize the S-12 though, just because it's something that hasn't been sold before...just something else
  16. You don't sound like an ass, many noobies just like bitching in open forums. They apparently don't give a fuck or are too lazy to figure out that when they bitch about products from people who actually support the community they are doing nothing, but making themselves look like assholes. I'm with Cobra (for once), trolls, go the fuck away, we're sick of your bitching. If you have a problem with a product, take it up with whoever you bought it from; guess what, if you bought it from someone who supports the community, you'll get great fucking service. If you come here to bitch and sland
  17. I have had two 12 rounders break on me, both in the same exact spot you are speaking of. I took the first one back to where I bought it and he said that it was news to him, the second time it happened I went back again and that time he had had half a dozen or so people that had brought back there mags because of the same thing. I have yet to send back any of the mags to surefire I was getting a consensus first. You would think that for how much money these mags are they would be steel reinforced like say the stock mag that comes with it, or the MD drum mag. Have you guys seen the thread on he
  18. I've had my S12 for about a month now and I have probably put about 100+ rounds threw my gun and I had FTE's like every round for the first 20 maybe (as a side note I also had 2 12 round surefires break at the top that same day but, that is another issue) The next weekend we went out and I put the other 80 rounds threw it and slugs ran great, 2 3/4 7 1/2 shot Winchester ran fair but better than last time every now and then a FTE. For whatever reason the last round no matter what i was shooting out of the factory five would stove pipe but, just the last round. Between the first time I took it o
  19. Yeah I still have one mag still in the package and that is what it says on the little white piece of paper. For 50-60 bucks a pop (LITERALLY!) you would think they would have already had the R&D to figure this problem out. That's too bad. Anyone know of another brand of mag of higher quality?
  20. First post here and glad to be, I need some help, I purchased a Saiga 12 2 weeks ago and a couple of surefire 12 rounders. First shot out of one of the 12 rounder and the lip on the front side of the mag broke off! The other 12 rounder ran fine. Today went out after work and put about 50 rounds threw it with the stock mag no problems, put a new 12 rounder in (made sure it was seated in and solid) fourth shot and the front lip broke off again on a brand new mag (the replacement for the one that broke the first time out) Just to clear up any confusion, no I wasn't holding on to the mag while sho
