    i dont own a compact,but i recently purchest an xdm 5.25 9mm and it is fantastic.the only thing i dont like about it is the grip safty,when you clear the chamber , i turn it sideways and eject the unused round in my hand ,on the springfield the slide wont go back if the grip safty is not pushed in .still working on a new way to clear the thing and not drop unused bullet on the ground

    my son started on the road to becoming a marine,stated the plege at the fed building in okc yesterday he is in cal today,anyway i told him i would give him a pistol of his choice upon competion ,he wants my old p89 he loves it and has shot thousads of rounds out of it,so i was thinking of parkerising and a new spring and firing pin,can a person engrave on a parkerised gun ?if not sugestions are welcome . thanks

    I envy you my friend. If I had a spread like that, I would be canning and dehydrating to maintain out of season produce year round. Be safe, Yakdung no rain has killed my garden ,no grass made me sell my starving cow at a loss as the market is flooded due to our drout,hope i can keep my job or my family is screwed.situation not lookin good.

    picked up the ARC angel stock for my 10 22 and now want a barrel to go with it ,there are a lot of options from bull barrels to subsonic,or fluted, is a muzzle brake necessary?my other question concerns the trigger group what parts to change out to make the pull smoother and maybe less poundage per pull . as always thank you for your knowledge.
