Well guys (and gals) since I first joined this forum a few years back I have been saving for my first FA purchase/investment and I finally have the funds to do so. The only additional information you might get is that it sat on a desk unopened for well over a month before it went pending. My experience with calling in regards to an inordinate delay discovered that it had been processed & approved but the final step to actually mailing it was not done as was indeed sitting on the proverbial desk. I received it about 4 or so days after calling.

I think MD Arms business decision to not release double stacks at this time has created an opening for Chaos to do quite well in this market segment.... I can speak for myself and perhaps quite a few others in that I was holding off any mag purchases until the double stacks came out. If an 8rd metal box or a mini metal drum with OEM reliability were to come out o fill this new void... well then... I know where I would spend my money. You make great products Chaos/Cameron. I only hope this one comes to fruition soon.

Bolt, Bolt Carrier, Trunnion and Front Gas Block are the rate limiting parts. Get the bolts and carriers here in number and the others should not be too hard to investment cast.

Haven't seen 7N1 in a long while for sale online. I have only heard rumors of the availability of the Wolf 200gr FMJ if it was ever really here. Classic economics, its the very fact that they raised the price that you can still find one to buy if you want one today given the relatively low supply compared to this day in 2007. If someone set an artificial cap on the price of the item like they do on rents in NYC that becomes, in effect, the new price, and if it is not reflective of the true market price you will have a shortage proportional to the demand. The Akins Accelerator had internal springs to do the work. This stock does not. Once the springs were removed the remaining stock was ok (albeit pointless)to own. EDIT: Buffet beat me to it.

Two relatively cheap bolt-ons did more for my power and fuel economy than anything else. 1.) Cat back exhaust. I initially used Flowmasters. Eventually I added a Bassani X-pipe and Long-tube headers. 2.) Underdrive Pulleys. These can be had for under $120 and will provide 8-15 HP and (for me at least on a 5.0) a constant 3 mpg bump. No bigger bang for the buck.

No joke, my old 5.0 is no longer N/A and was having relatively mild detonation/lean running problems that, to make a long story short, was traced back to the damn BP station's 93 having 10% ETOH which was not taken into account for awhile b/c all previous testing used the Citgo 93 which did not (at that time) contain ETOH.
