Did you do the mods to the handguard yourself? Is it easy to do?

Are you still looking for one of these? I have one from my 23" Saiga-12, definately longer than the one that goes on my AK47. What sort of length do you need?

Want to buy sling swivel + screws for an Ironwood Buttstock. Approximate outside dimensions of the mount is 7/16" x 1-3/8" Here is a pic of basically what I am looking for:

Bah humbug! I thought I was getting a good deal on a pair of mags, thats what I get for not doing some research first. Looks like these things are going up for sale, try and recoup some of my $$$.

So I picked up a pair of Promag 10 round mags from the gun show a few weeks ago, and now I am going to take them to the range to test them out... I loaded them with 10 rounds each, and then tried to remove the rounds... As I push the rounds out at the top of the magazine, they do not come out smoothly, and every few rounds they fail to move upwards, as if they are stuck in the magazine because it is almost too tight / small. Did I need to "prep" these magazines first or something? Am I doing it wrong? Or do Promags suck, and I just didn't know it? Thanks for your enlightenment.

Yeah, a general idea.... skulls, and bones, and evil looking shit. I am not an artist or graphic designer, so I would just provide a few examples of what I am looking for, and then let them go to town.

That looks like a good deal. My 22" cost $469 including shipping. Yeah the stick mags are big, but I think they look pretty bada$$.

I used the hammer and cold chisel. Worked like a charm in just a minute or two. Why hadn't I thought of that earlier!

Am I going to be able to drill out the spot weld where the trigger guard and cover plate meet up? Trying to seperate the trigger guard for a re-use, but I have burned up 2 cheap 3/16 drill bits already trying to drill through the spot weld. Should I head over to Home Depot and pick up a nice drill bit, or am I wasting my time and money?

Just wanted to say thanks. I put in my order Sunday night and recieved it today, Wednesday! Even after I put in an addition to the original order! Can't wait to convert my S12.

Don't throw away the factory 5 round mag. I am sure someone could use it. Even me!

Probably a silly question, but does something like this cause problems when using anything besides a slug? Do I need to worry about stuff getting caught up in the holes and whatnot?
