  1. Did I say bottle of water? I meant bottle of vodka. Vodka is to russians as gasoline is to an automobile engine... every so many miles, you need more of it. Different engines take different types of gasoline, with different percentages of alcohol... some need more per mile, some need less.... that's how the world works.
  2. You need to start lifting weights if it's too much recoil... just add a recoil buffer... it's all you really need.
  3. Thanks for that update Marko. Nice analogy... really hit home. Just make sure when she changes her mind that you tell her to "get fucked". That feels almost better than sex.
  4. A couple of shoe strings tied together works fine for me. Well, I do leather works and I'll just make one out of leather, I guess... I have some slings lying around somewhere in this mess. Just make this shit yourself... a real russian can survive with one toothbrush, one bottle of water, and an axe. My Sibirian history is coming out, I know... at least it's not like in Uzbekistan where having sex with chickens is considered a past time.
  5. Thanks for the news update... I'm really excited now. I had problems contacting russia, but I did track some down in Latvia.
  6. Yeah, I got the same letter... he told me he'll ship my order on monday... I asked him if he had any in stock and he said that he does. I didn't know "in stock" means "on the way" in Finnish. I don't know what to think anymore... I befuddled by this situation... these can be found in russia.... I'll try there.
  7. I don't think most people convert theirs. Mine has the factory stock... I even got used to the rib sight and now I like it. Easy to adjust and fairly interesting. I don't care how it looks... if you just care about looks... then, you don't see a gun as a usable tool, but as something that hightens your prestige. I got it because it works in adverse conditions and is reliable. I needed a 12 gauge for hunting, and this is what I chose. I love the chrome lined and thick barrel, I care not for chokes as this is mosty for slugs... not to mention the barrel being long enough to shoot turkeys
  8. I hope my grandchildren enjoy em. Since I have given up on calling russia... I'm going to spend my time on my useful projects... like getting laid.
  9. I wish you luck... hope it works out for you... I'm going to sleep. Do they allow 8-rounders in WI?
  10. Right now, I'd be happy with just one more 5-rounder to have two sister 5-rounders... 8-rounders would be nice... but even just one fiver would do for my hunting purposes. I don't need a pistol grip, I like how they come in. I really love this gun, but just one more mag at least... even a two-rounder will suffice. For deer hunting I always used a 20ga. pump. It worked, and worked rather well... but after shooting some 12 gauge pump shotties... I realized that the 20ga just doesn't do it for me anymore. That's when I went out and bought a saiga... and it was that same day I found out abou
  11. I cancelled my order... I asked about how much a 5-rounder was, and I never got a reply. I found out they're like $60 in some places in Europe... I really need to find more russian contacts. I wonder if 8-rounders are allowed here? Big corporations like EAA always have to kiss some gov't ass... they absolutely have to... it's the unspoken code. This is one huge fuck up... really now... I just wanted a reliable 12ga. and when I finally decide to get one, they run out of mags... good thing I can reload that one 5-rounder fairly quickly... It'll have to do. I'm not too worried, but they sho
  12. I'm patient... my time isn't up yet. Marko is very polite and I can imagine how tough it must be for him to keep all that going, plus a family and social life. Things running smoothly and then the wrong order comes in. I'm willing to wait a little, these 8 rounders are worth it... if their 5-rounders were like $20 - $30 then I'd get some, but I just need one extra for hunting anyway. I can't believe a piece of plastic with some metal on top and a spring can be such a hot item... this is insanity. I even tried calling russia... couldn't get an answer. A strange time now... I have fai
  13. I like that saiga-12 mod... but I do prefer my stock saiga bolt handle... I just like how it sticks out like that. It's smooth like boobies... it just feels natural. Why fix a good thing?
  14. Wouldn't the windage be preset and aligned to the barrel in the factory? Do I take out the rivet? Or do I just slide out the whole rail? It seems fairly tight. Clicks left or right, but doesn't really move much.
  15. I wonder why I never heard of a 10 gauge saiga, or the ever popular 16 gauge. I heard 16 gauges, especially double barrels are common in russia. The saiga-7.62x39mm. is semi auto... Why don't they make 7.62x41 mm. like the first AK's? I'd get a 7.62 saiga, except I've got no where to use it... it would just lay there taking up space... I guess I'm rather practical... I need to use it otherwise it's useless.
  16. That still doesn't help... I just don't understand.... it looks like two ears or whatever in the rear... with the rail. It's difficult to explain. By windage, you mean wind or what? I'm confused.
  17. How do I adjust the rear for windage?
  18. Glad to hear everything is working out... I should be getting mine pretty soon.
  19. I can speak russian... not very well, but understandable. I have to do something about my rail sight. I don't know what to do... one of the reasons I got this thing is because I thought it had a rifle sight... I was wrong... I still have to play around with the rail, but at the moment... it is pissing me off a bit. I heard the m4 is useless and those front sights are alluminum instead of steel. Whoever created this rail sight, well bottom line is, his mom routinely engages in sexual congress with donkeys... two... sometimes three at a time.
  20. There is a little hole behind the wheel (for adjusting elevation). There is a safety catch to make sure the wheel doesn't spin in the field... stick something in there and then spin the wheel. I also had problems loading in a loaded mag... it takes practice... push it in and forward... then pull it back... just keep trying and trying... maybe try minus one round in the mag until you get used to it.

    Raised Sights

How to use the rusmilitary sight when I have an adjustable rib? I really wanted a fixed sight on my saiga... I didn't know how it would come. I feel low... magazines and sights that together cost half the cost of the gun itself.
  22. I wonder if when you order you can choose between the fixed notch sight and the adjustable rib sight. I just ordered one, and told them to give me the longer barrel... it's 22in. or 24in... I haven't measured yet. It came with a rib sight, but I'm getting used to it... I really wanted a fixed sight... I like a rifle sight on a shotgun since mine is mostly for deer hunting.
  23. Sounds tempting... the rib sight seems a little strange, but I'm getting used to it. A shotgun with a peep sight would be comfortably eccentric.
  24. I don't think it would help for my use of this rooskie, but I'm wondering how much it costs compared to the regular 12 with a sportier stock. Mags are a problem now. I predict people are going to start dropping if the problem isn't fixed soon. It's just a little piece of plastic. Free market my ass.

    Rail rib sight

I'm sure someone else out there has gotten their rib sight working... why would they put it on otherwise? It either looks like ^ I ^ with the flat top of the bead lined up with the rear "ears" (and rail showing) or like ^ x ^ without the rail in view.
