Yeah, Dick's prices on firearms aren't worth mentioning. Only time I go there is when ammo is on sale. 2 weeks ago I got Remington 3" 410 ammo for $7.50/box. BTW, Sportsman's Guide has Golden Bear 410 Sabot Slugs for $36/100 rounds. Cool looking brass cases. Much cheaper than Breneke Sabots at $1 each.
-
Dunno why this is so cheap...http://www.copesdist.com/springfield.htm $45 for 3 factory mags, a double pouch and a hard plastic carrying case??? At that price they probably won't last long...

Dick's sporting goods just had Remington Game loads - bird shot with the little squirrels & rabbits on the box for $3.49/box of 25. Their Rem all purpose was $3 a box - thought that was good but it was only for 20 rounds - never seen that before. Dunhams also had the Rem Game Loads for $4/box. Estate 12 gauge game ammo was $4.29 a box at Gander Mountain but their prices vary store to store.

Finally had time to dicker with 'em... 22 rounds of 9mm (tight). That's +7 over the XD-9's 15 rounds and +5 over the usual 17 I can put in there in my setup. (gun's an X-40 w/ 9mm conv barrel using XD-40/XD-357 mags) As for fo-tay, 16 rounds. Dunno if I could have got 17 in there. 12 round factory capacity mags. Sometimes I can get 13 in there but it's hard to get the mag to lock in the pistol. Very cool mod for range day

pics gone now - can you just upload them here?

I can tell you when they arrive, but Kevin said +4 to 5 rounds. Dunno if that's 9 or 40/357. He also has 'em for 45 too. I got an EFK firedragon 9mm conv barrel for my XD-40. I can use the mags for any of the ammo. Cool thing is they will hold 13 - .40's and 17 - 9's so I'm guessing 16-17 - .40's and 21-22 9's.

For future reference...(not to scale)

Yup, all set. I will add those pre-drilled kits to the site soon. Thanks

Welcome back Tok - still love the avatar! -
The 410 slug weights are comparable to .380 ACP - about 95 grains. I like the 3" breneke sabots, but I use a rifled paradox choke for those. There's also the silver bear 2 3/4" sabots. If you don't use a paradox choke, get rifled slugs. For small game hunting I use 3" plastic exclusively - #4 shot. I stay away from the 2 1/2". Cycling is hit or miss with mine. I've used it for skeet too - it's good practice and a hell of a challenge.

Saiga Stock is supplied directly by RAAC - FYI guys. Straight off the boat! I think they run it. Clyde told me awhile ago they were getting it set up.

AGP is selling individual mag parts. The feed lip clips, springs and followers work in the factory 5 and 8 round mags. Easy way to add an additional compliance part. The floor plates don't work as they are different. http://www.agparms.com/home.php?cat=255

AGP Arms now offers Springfield XD mag extensions! http://www.agparms.com/home.php?cat=256 Check 'em out +4 rounds

Happy B-Day to you and your brother both! -
Captain, it was definitely a rifle wound. Could have been from the early youth season or a violator. The property there is mostly ridges & valleys so it's not uncommon to have odd angles on shots. Ranger, yes we do have to wear orange. Actually that pic was taken several hours after I shot him. I was already in for a couple shots and some coffee. He was all straightened out - I had to jump on his back to get him to squish down a little. That's why he's sitting up like that. These guys were shot on the grandma's property over in Bear Lake - Manistee County. (northwest lower peninsu
