Lee has a 18 cav. 00 buck mold. In about an hour I bashed out 6 lbs.

For shits and giggles i would get a bag (100ea.) of none primed hulls and see if you get the same results..... Orrrrrrr a bulk pack of winchester shoot em up and reload.....eather way if all 100 do well then it was the beat up hulls. And if you still got the same prob.......you might seat primer a little slower and not so hard. On my Hornady LnL you can jam that primer in to deep....but not with out trying. hope that helps.........pics please

I got a lee and when you are all set up I can bash out about 100 of them in about 30 min.

if you are using new hulls...you might be pushing the new primer in to hard.... if you are using old hulls the primer pocket might be beat up and no good.... that's all I got...hope it helps. hey are you using 00 buck?

I had that prob with my s12....in fact it would FTE just about every round. Before I added my red dot at the end of my chaos extended rail...it ran like butter. so now I got the dot half way up the rail and its GTG.

One really don't need a press for shot shell. I got a MEC for 12 and .410....i only use the press to powder drop. I use pre-primed hulls and roll crimp.

I just ever so lightly taper crimp. I got Hornady dies.

I said about......i get 70 rds. From a hornady 5# box of 00 buck. ( 9 pills ea.) The stuff I get in a 10 # bag is nickel plated so I would guess the weight to volume to be more volume. But you would be right 200 rdz. From a 10 # bag would be nice. Hay deadeye can we have some pics.? If I remember right that press gos for 800. right? Any who, good luck with that. Thank you!!!....I have had a hanker'n for a PTR-91 But the cheepest I could get in to one was 1100. -1400.The one I want is 2100.00......So this CETME sportster for 500. + 200. for a stock + 80.00 for a tri-rail seems to be a good start.

Atlantic firearms has a CETME sportster in 308 for 499. They say it is an "older" version.... could one add a paratrooper stock and change out parts with the H&K and PTR-91 veriants?
