  1. Ok So here is what you said you did... I wanted to incorporate a few mods so I got busy and did the following. Removed most of the steel picitinny rail with my band saw and a 4 1/2" grinder. I spent about 3 hours grinding on the welds off, going very slow to keep the gas block from getting too hot Replaced the stock with an M-4 style stock Silver soldered the G-3 sight set onto it Brazed the original Gas Block Holes shut Added the quad rail. Did you add a new magwell also? if so the magwells must be perfectly aligned to feed properly. Also if you are using Surefire mags the barrel hoo
  2. Sounds like you preformed several mods and it F'd the Gun up. Sounds like your fault to me. Post pictures of the mods you did.
  3. I did NOT know that was possible. That changes things a bit. Are you cutting/removing the taper and re-crowning the barrel? Thanks! no did not recrown barrel as I didnt shorten it just moved sight back and threaded barrel then added PWS brake after Dinzag rethreaded it
  4. Dinzag can rethread the PWS brake to 17X1 that is what he just did for me. His service is quick and great reply to email
  5. We have a Guy in town that ceramic coats saiga 12's with NIC industries ceramic also known as Lava Shield. This is the best coating in the industry hands down. He normally takes 2 to 3 weeks for turn around. His business is Cuervo Custom coating and his name is Jose. I think it runs $350 for a complete coating of every single part in gun including FCG, piston, springs ect. PM me if you want his phone number. Here are pics of a AK he just did for me

  12. Is the shark brake hardened steel? I was told by some yahoo they are soft unhardened steel. Can you please give me the specs? Thanks
  13. Looking at the gas fixer plug it seems to me that the only thing its good for is an over gassed gun. Am I wrong about this?
  14. Does anyone cut the dust cover on the recoil spring? I saw one conversion were they cut that little dust cover so it wouldnt rub the bolt carrier.
