  1. it seems to me some engineers having way, way too much time on their hands. hey, I'm all for revolutionary designs, providing the design is going to be something with a "wow" factor. but, honest to goodness this bullet is not going to be any more lethal or do anything that a standard FMJ bullet does, so what's the point?????? other then to say, "looky what we have done" now if they come up with a "smart" bullet, one that once it's out of the barrel it goes and hits the target all by itself without the aid of aiming, well now that would be revolutionary. this one is more o
  2. you don't ever need to take apart the bolt for cleaning, like mullet man said, just take a can of brake cleaner and blast it
  3. go to garage sales, you can pick up all sorts of targets super cheap, elmo dolls, lawn ornaments etc..... a lot of garage sales have FREE boxes. I have used x-mas tree ornaments, I find them at garage sales for like 50 cents a box. get some string and tie them to a frame of a political sign at different heights. when you shoot one the pieces are so small you don't have to worry about picking them up. the other thing I use is wallpaper, I find brand new rolls at garage sales for like a dollar. make a silhouette template from a piece of cardboard roll out the wallpaper, and just spray
  4. I'll be 85, if I even get up to that age. if I'm still around in 41, I'll be sitting on my front lawn naked on a lawn chair, smoking weed and jacking off waiting for the end. fuck, I might start doing that when I hit 80.
  5. I guess if you want to do something like that, then buy it and have it installed. when I buy a semi-auto rifle, I expect not to work the action
  6. a much neater representation of the flame is the one above it, looks like a guy with his hands up, Hände hoch
  7. if this is a AKM, then I wouldn't go with any kind of flash hider, I would put on what a AKM is suppose to have; a slant muzzle brake. for a AK74 the elongated brake
  8. well, considering there is no COPEs forum, that's a safe bet to say they are gone.
  9. why would you even think that it will last longer on non-pistol grip rifle and not on a pistol grip rifle? the only thing that changes is the placement of your firing hand, it will have no effect on the retainer
  10. nice try junior, but you're citing a texas residential lease, he's in Oregon, you're trying to fit a elephant in a grocery sack, sorry but it doesn't fit. and reading that, the key words are NON EXEMPT PROPERTY. look up what texas considers non-exempt property.
  11. I would say that boat has already sailed. if you wanted to keep it as original as you can, you shouldn't have messed with it from the git-go. now that SAIGA 12K is just like any run of the mill SAIGA that was converted.
  12. just a guess on my part, but he's probably thinking like me, import of 5.45 ammo could be stopped, then where would that leave you, after you shoot up all the 5.45 you have stocked up? It will make a nice wall hanger that you can look and reminisce 5.56 isn't imported, it's made here.
  13. except for moving the trigger group forward, and there are plenty of tutorials on how to go about doing that, everything else you want to put on a S12 can be done as add ons, from the muzzle brake to the stock, which there is plenty of them.
  14. buying 10K all at once, yeah I can see how some people wouldn't be able to afford that. but, you would be surprised how easily you can put 10K of ammo through a AK over a few years, unless you just plan on shooting 30 rounds in one year then quit until next year.
  15. whatever you do don't hire these guys. I mean just look what happen with a three hour tour with these boys in charge
  16. it's more then that, this experienced should be filed in your cerebral cortex under the heading LESSONS LEARNED. if you're going to have something done, get someone who knows what the fuck he is doing and has experience. a buddy with a welding set up, who never worked on firearms, should have sent a big red flag for you in the first place I mean if you needed a appendix removed, would you go to your landscaper because he'll do it for free and he has some sharp objects?
  17. on a side note, why in the fuck are people so enthralled with posting their life/personal info on "social medias"? I just don't get the whole thing, maybe because I'm pushing 60 and don't have this "desire" to tell the entire world my business, what I have done and going to do, and when my bowl movement times are. want to know something that's even more twisted? I'm betting the people who spell out their life story on these things, posting pictures of themselves with guns etc..... telling the entire world what they're doing, going to do, have done etc.... are the ones that scream the lo
  18. now boys, play nicely or I'll send you to bed without your dinner
  19. luckily, the advice he gave wouldn't have cause a major catastrophe to the SG or the shoot, if the OP shot a lead slug through the barrel. about the only thing it would have done is lead deposit would have accumulated in front of the weld. the thing that gets me, is how someone would even think that somehow a lead slug would even smooth out that weld. I mean really, lead????? its is one of the softest metal on this planet. maybe in the 8th dimension lead has some unique properties that would do something like that, but not in this dimension where we all live and call home.
  20. these are parts, not receivers, they don't get involved with pieces and parts, just firearms.
  21. maybe you keep a loaded gun under your mattress, and maybe money in the mattress, but I certainly don't. I keep mine in the drawer of the night stand, like most normal people would. and before you ask the question on the position of it, which I'm sure that will come up. I put the pistol in the draw with the grip toward me, so it will be easier to grab the pistol
  22. the 4th Doctor, kudos for you to try to resolve this, I would be interested in reading their response.
  23. Ok then what? you find him ask for your money and parts and he says fuck you. what's your next move? threats? physical violence? if you don't know how that story will end, I do. cops called you are charged with communicating a threat/menacing/assault etc... if you're intent is to call the cops after he says fuck you, then they'll come out write a report, and tell you it's a civil issue, take him to court
  24. ol' evil gets a pass for doing stupid things with a firearm simply because he is a member here.
