    Saiga 12 $599

Looks like we are back to normal...
  2. haha what is this No Country for old men fan boys? Saiga 12 is meant to be loud and mean. pow pow pow
  3. hehe i am still tempted to buy some low recoil slugs, i got a lot of standard but man do they hurt the shoulder after awhile.
  4. The V plug really helps my saiga run perfectly. One of my holes isn't perfectly over gas block and I had to file block/open holes and do a lot of grinding and polishing on new tromix trigger to get my saiga to feed bird shot reliably. With v plug I will usually run slugs on setting 1-2 least open, and then tune my buck/ other high powered loads to 3 or 4 and run birdshot and low recoil loads on 5. This way I know my saiga isn't over gassed and I consider the V plug a must have at least for my gun.
  5. I like my G 26 and will probably add a g17 or g22 with conversion barrel to go with it one day. My favorite hand gun is my LCP. I carry an extra 10 round mag with laser, grip extension and pachmayr grip. At self defense ranges with laser I will put bullets in bullet holes. With factory sights I do just as well as my G 26
  6. Best price I've seen at my local store is $125 and that store has the best prices in town
  7. So went out to buy a gallon of milk, and picked up this nice brand new Draco-c with sling mount, sling, 3 30 round mags 2 polymer 1 steel, and one 20 round mag, plus utg bipod, Chinese AK style mag vest and a T-shirt All numbers match on Bolt, Carrier, receiver, haven't check barrel gun made in 1974, everything looks brand new, haven't fired it needs a good cleaning to get factory cosmo out, and then off to range I will go. draco-c-closeup by kalashnikov-kyle, on Flickr draco-c-vest by kalashnikov-kyle, on Flickr Was thinking of buying another Saiga 12 for $
  8. haha sideways homie style got to try that one Also I believe in the MD gas plug to really get a feel on how your gun is cycling. 5 settings lets you fine tune the Saiga into a 1 handed from the hip firing machine. For standard buck shot I use setting 3 at range but if I wanted extra one handed reliability at home I might set it to setting 4 or even 5 for my rem manged recoil 00 buck loads. I just picked up 250 rounds of them and my next range trip will probably consist of testing them in every sideways homie one handed style I can think of
  9. mine will cycle 95% of the time one handed or fired from hip with federal bird shot with the occasional fail to extract if I really limp wrist the thing. I have the Tapco folder which is considered the cheapest least nice folder u can buy, my gun now runs shooting from shoulder 100%, and although MD plug, opening gas ports, polishing rails, and lubing correctly all helped me achieve reliability, but it wasn't 100% until I focused on my hammer, and the friction caused by bolt and bolt carrier rubbing against the hammer. Like Pauly said, it wouldn't cycle this reliable until I really focused
  10. Hahaha Screw It I just ordered another one. The price is just tooo good. These are way better than mags IMO. And the shotgun is easier to fire from LOW prone positions.. with mags mag hits ground, and first thing you learn in combat is to get on the ground low as possible. 3 drums on a tactical vest should look pretty cool. I think the drums will hold up very well over time... this new polymer plastic seems to be well made...
  11. Well my drum came today. It fit right out of the box but there is a little wiggle from side to side. Immediately I loaded her up and I brought out my black Molle II tatical vest a friend got me from gun show. Surprisingly the 12 round mag fit in the 100 round saw pouch that came with the vest but it was tight, and although not to bad I'd rather have loose than tight. So I ordered two 1 quart canteen molle pouches after reading some posts on here and a 200 round saw that I hope will fit my MD20. The colors I got are tan, which should look cool on black vest and match dark earth tapco fold
  12. fire off some slugs out of 5 round mag, buck shot, and bird shot. If gun only cycles slugs/buckshot then you are probably undergassed.. 95% of guns are under gassed because of weak US ammo. Your gun isn't a vodka special, it was just meant to fire stronger loads. To fire off the birdshot I would recommend the MD Arms V plug or the new auto plug is getting some good reviews. MD is cheaper and trust me it will work and help your gun cycle better. This is the first thing you need to do after testing if gun will cycle weak ammo because may guns will cycle 99% after MD V plug that
  13. I wish I had a few more mags but I think I have most tactical and survival scenarios filled now. If I had to strap down I could carry the MD 20, with pro drum in pouch surefire in vest and maybe cut it down, and 5 round mag in vest pouch also. Anyone have experience carrying surefire 12 in mag vest/pouch or is it smarter to cut it to a 8 or 10 that way? Seems like it would be easier to carry. Still 44-48 rounds of 12 gauge is enough for me until I get more money saved up and my finances straightened out lol. But for $63.77 i think it's a bargain with the good possibility of going up in
  14. Since MD arms isn't coming out with double stacks for what could be years, I thought now was a good time to add a new drum. I already own a MD 20 round drum I got on sale when they were $70-80. My gun came with a surefire 12 but it's ridiculously to long for any tactical purpose, i may cut it down to a 10. All reviews seem positive about these drums as they copied MD's design. I know quality and tightness of fitting my MD has wont be as good, but the size and price won me over. $64 at midway, plus $10 off promo code = shipping free = $63.77 Maybe this is why mike decided not to produce
  15. http://video.foxnews.com/#/v/4697143/oreilly-vs-stewart-over-common-controversy-part-2/?playlist_id=87485 At the end of the second video on a debate between John Stewart and Bill O'Reilly about Obama inviting a poet whom sympathized with a convicted cop killer. Good debate, but more important, at the end of the debate John Stewart tries to come to an agreement on something with Bill O'Reilly and brings up supporting the Assault Weapon ban because without it cops get killed. O'Reilly is clearly heard agreeing with him. Just another example of how much puppets even fox news is to the
  16. This is the freaking problem with government!!!! They create dumb laws punishable by threatening to send you to basically dungeons which date pre-Christ, which have NEVER WORKED to stop criminals and murderers. I believe we already had a law about murder, discharging a firearm in city limits/at public and did that stop a crazy person from murdering people? No. If you outlaw guns, murderers will carry crossbows and knives. Outlaw them and you will see more homemade grenades made out of coconuts, and flame throwers make out of supersoakers. The murder/criminal will always find
  17. Glad I bought mine a month ago before all this nonsense. Even though its off the news it seems paranoia lasts for and extra 3-4 months in the gun world and this causes ammo or magazine shortage. And to the people ordering 5-10 at a time, what's wrong with you lol. Shouldn't one be enough???? j/k If I had the money I'd make sure I had 20 extra for storage in my desert bunker hahahahah.
  18. I love my vertical grip, and I got the CAA shorty from CSS, running it with SGM TRI-RAIL. Love this tri rail because it feels so natural can switch from vertical grip to classic hand guard. So far I put over 200 shells through her including some 3 inch mags and a lot of 00 buck and everything is smooth and solid as a rock. Vertical grip helps a lot with recoil in my opinion. Saves my shoulder a ton and makes shooting fun again. After fixing my gas issues My MD20 has gone through countless dumps without failure! Also I don't think they are impossible to carry, vertical grip again helps
  19. yes Mic isn't the best, but it would of been easy for me to amplify the audio of me speaking in my video editing program I was just lazy. Also I have a thick case on phone which mutes mic a bit. also there appears to be endless external mic solutions for the Iphone 4 if you google them, everything from cheap and simple to professional stuff. http://www.google.com/search?q=iphone+4+external+mic&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&client=firefox-a&rlz=1R1GGLL_enUS377US377
  20. I have the 4 and my buddy has the evo. The 4 IMO is much faster responsive with the touch screen. You're able to flick around open apps ect with almost zero lag. The EVO has the bigger screen, it's 4 G which means its capable of faster network download speeds when you are within coverage. Both have tons of apps and both are modern cutting edge phones. I haven't used the evo software, but I tunes is very easy. It backs up and syncs my phone automatically. I lost my Iphone 4 and had to buy another which sucked, but I was relived when I simply connected new phone to Itunes and i
  21. I don't think you should use the words stolen by officers at all, even if this turns out to be the case. The officers could of very well of just forgot to do the paperwork out of laziness or even say they responded to some emergency call, and left the gun in the back of their cruiser or in storage at the PD. This is how they can explain it to the judge anyway. From there all it would take is someone to say they destroyed it or misplaced it among thousands of other pistols at the department. They can come up with endless stories which will all hold more merit than your own even though they
  22. LMAO at them telling you to contact the officer your self to get the pistol back. I duno about the CWP laws there, but here you're allowed to carry in bars as long as your not intoxicated. If it's true it's illegal to carry in bars there at all, and you've already admitted to this crime on this forum, and the fact that you were arrested for intoxication that night even though charges have been dropped, i duno the consequences you will face if you try to take this to court. More charges could be brought against you "carrying in a bar", which in turn you might lose your CWP for. Is
  23. Some may remember my post from a few weeks ago here. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=61016&st=0&p=582155&fromsearch=1entry582155 Well I haven't made it to the range aka my desert until today. Messed around and took a video and did some editing here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ey4RzTqjYxI All I can say is thank god my Saiga 12 is now working 100% with MD 20 round drum and federal 100 round value packs. 5 drum dumps today and all went 100% flawless. The MD arms V Gas Plug is a big reason it works so well imo, what an awesome product. I duno why bu
