  1. It's on here. It's been mentioned on other recent threads involving race too. Of course, when I bring it up, people always claim that it isn't a race issue, but more about social class. Yet "purge" and "cleanse" are always and ONLY brought up in threads involving race. If class is the issue, why are all the threads about race? I started posting here originally because I like guns. But I'm not nearly as redneck as most people here. That confuses many of the people on this board because many are straight up morons. I see the usual pieces of shit agree with you. Congrats, you're in go
  2. Good luck convincing a jury of that if you're making racially charged comments in the process (and I realize not everyone here is, but some ARE). A random selection of people may not see it the same as the rather homogeneous group that is S12 members. There's a difference between saying "I'll defend myself against attacks based on the color of my skin" and saying "I'll shoot the black scum and ask questions later...they should be purged anyway" if the shooting is at all questionable. You ignore that distinction at your peril. Better to not brag.
  3. Fine, but much of this thread is directed at using guns against black people specifically. Not about general self defense. Then you're not well-equipped survive in our crowded tribal society, so you move out of the monkey-hive to Lincoln or Bonners and become an increasingly anti-social hermit until the man takes notice of your anti-social behavior. That or become a comedian.
  4. Our firearms aren't for killing anyone in particular, they're for stopping any threat, whomever/whatever/however it presents itself.Whether its a two legged varmint, shaggy brown bear in the woods or little green men from Mars. Shotgun is a fine SD firearm, and thugs know it, one was interviewed and said something along the lines of "nothing more dangerous than a determined man with a gauge." My family's safety makes me that man... Read that Mr. Prosecutor... And kiss my ass. Fine, Chile. I don't blame you for being nervous given your job and location. And I don't think anyone sho
  5. Interesting... I'm glad so many people have their negra-killing guns all sorted out and posted online. It'd go over real well with a jury. "God forbid I have to use my guns in the way I'm fantasizing about." Fap fap fap.
  6. And my guess is that if you do something obnoxious enough, point values will become irrelevant as you earn a million points at once. "Three strikes" laws don't really matter for capital crimes, but capital crimes aren't exactly committed by accident either.
  7. I've done it. I used a heavily molested piece of picatinny rail that screwed into the handguard screw and mounted a sling swivel stud at the front of that. But I went that route mostly because I didn't want to mess up my wood handguard. I also just wanted to see how it worked. It worked fine for range practice, but wasn't the most sturdy setup. It probably would have been easier and sturdier to just drill through the handguard like you're talking about. Just make sure you can change mags without your bipod getting in the way.
  8. Fap fap fap (sexy little thing). Putin apparently agrees.
  9. Heh. Additionally, people don't appreciate that AKs have damn near as many aftermarket stock, grip, forearm, and sight options as ARs do these days. You can get an AR with a piston, and you can get an AK magwell that accepts AR mags. And the accuracy differences between a likely 1-3 MOA AR 15 vs. 2-3 MOA AK 74 are really pretty moot. Crap ammo the gun hates with crappy sights and a crappy shooter will produce crappy groups. Many people use optics anyway, so the sights aren't all that relevant either. ARs can weigh a little less (although this is usually negated with accessori
  10. I don't doubt that it's lighter. I just don't know how it's a full lb. lighter than my SAR-1 (which is one of the lighter AKs). So I'll estimate the math: -Remove FSB (about 4 oz.) -Add FH (looks similar to the Tapco Razr FH, which weighs 2.4 oz.) -Add a little weight to the Gas block for the Front sight assembly (I'm not sure, but the added FS looks like like at least half the metal of the original FSB, so call it 2 oz.). That comes out damn near dead even. Does the furniture make up the full lb. difference? -A wood AK stock set weighs about 2 lbs with standard plasti
  11. An SKS weighs about 8.8 lbs, and a Saiga weighs about 7 lbs. 8.8 lbs is a bit excessive for a naked 7.62 x 39 rifle, IMO. ETA - the paratrooper SKS that takes AK mags does have a quirky appeal to me. But I still think the AK is the more practical choice.
  12. Does anyone know what this thing actually weighs? http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/storeproduct1103.aspx It's listed everywhere as 6 lbs. But with an aluminum quadrail and that goofy flash hider, I highly doubt it weighs a full lb. less than a regular, naked WASR (which it more or less appears to be) even with the gas block/front sight combo. There's a 74 version as well. I'm curious about that too, if anyone knows.
  13. What color were the cars? Who started it? When they pulled apart the pileup, was that race-ial segregation? That ain't constitutional, you know.
  14. You're right, actually. There was nothing racial about this thread until I commented.
  15. YEAH! A good ETHNIC CLEANSING! WHITE P...wait, my mistake. I thought I stumbled into Stormfront for a second.
  16. If it doesn't make sense to you, maybe I can help break it down. I wasn't comparing pesonally choosing to drive drunk to being an unwilling shooting victim. That's apples to oranges. I was comparing being too irresponsible to handle booze to being too irresponsible to handle weapons. The common element is the lack of good judgment. Make sense now? A better comparison of what you brought up would be: Getting hit by a drunk driver compared to being shot by a negligent discharge. Both of which are things you don't have much control over. Apples to apples.
  17. You could say the same thing about choosing to go to colleges where guns aren't allowed. There are rules everywhere you choose to go. If you're going to apply it that broadly, why not high schools, prisons, or even mental institutions? I don't see anything in the Constitution that says "except when we're talking about kids, thugs, or crazies." Gotta disagree. The average age, atmoshpere, and level of life experience on college campuses are entirely different than, say, a grocery store. Keep in mind a lot of these people were in high school last year and are now unsupervised
  18. Ditto on almost all of this. I don't like the grips on Glocks, and my XD9 service fits my hands really well. But honestly, it's a little big for me to want to carry unless I'm wearing a winter jacket. It lives mostly in my car or on my night stand. I carry a 9x18 Polish p64. Also easy to carry (small but a little heavy) but a little punishing to shoot. The DA/SA also makes me feel a little less likely to blow my balls off. Bigger bullets are better, but I still prefer the capacity and price of 9mm. But as was stated before, I'd want to get my hands on anything I planned on car
  19. Where are you getting 308 for low .30s per round? The cheapest I found for x39 was 21 cents per round (bulgarian surplus). The cheapest I found for 308 was 36 cents per round (poorly stored and partially corroded Port. surplus). The non-corroded linked stuff was 40 cents. Still, the difference between 21 cents and 36/40 cents adds up fast. Of course, if you need the superior range and power of 308, the price of x39 isn't really relevant. I have both, but the x39 gets shot more often.
  20. Redacted. Good god. What was I thinking? There's no sense in arguing against a human political cartoon. Keep it up. I'm sure it'll work out for you.
  21. Wow! This thread advocating (yes, advocating) for assassinating the president should really be shut down. I wouldn't want to host this kind of thing if the FBI came knocking. On the other hand, the exemplary grammar and reasoning used in some of these posts serve to mark who the real morons are. It should also be a valuable lesson in why y'all are gonna have to deal with another 4 years of disappointment - because some of you just sound stupid, angry, and hyperbolic. The modern GOP/tea party is so easily whipped into a froth over non-issues like gay marriage, abortion, and contra
  22. I used to do trail work for the forest service, and when you're working out in the sun all day, it gets pretty tiresome filtering gallons of water out of a creek every day. The time saved became worth it for me. I've been drinking unfiltered creek water for years and haven't ever gotten sick. I do know a couple people who have, but they both drank out of creeks I wouldn't touch, for reasons the creeks' names should make obvious - "Moose Creek" and "Big Creek." Small creeks that don't flow a long way are less likely to be tainted by animals. Tepid creeks that meander for miles through mead
  23. I'd opt for an old school hand pump well and be done with it. But then again, I'm not above drinking right out of a creek either (depending on the creek),
  24. This is going to be hard advice to follow, but I'd wait until you have the scope in hand and the rail mounted on the rifle before you buy rings. I'd play with it a little and see how everything fits together and works with you ergonomically. If you go too low, you're possibly going to have problems with the objective bell hitting the dogleg/peep, or will have to mount the scope too far back or forwards. If you go too high, you're possibly going to wish you'd waited and gone lower. But Chile's right - you may want a riser regardless. Slower is faster, haste makes waste, etc.
