  1. Just info: Rubber coating (Dupont coating) 10 Round Mags are made by MolotArms not by Molot. These are two different companies, the first one use the production of the second one. Molot are going to start produce Original Molot 10 Round Mag only in the close future. It will be one piece mag as their 8 rounder, not glued two piece mag.
  2. I just mention that the barrel damage or injury/death during firing using improper muzzle attacment is not a warranty issue, firing slugs or mugnum/semi-magnum bugshot with S12 on V12 is like playing Russian Roulet - Good Luck.
  3. Ok... so they modified the gas ports in the barrel so that it could shoot lower powered shot?If that's all Molot did, why is everybody having such a hard time making a 12" Vepr in the US? PapaZ, do you know what the # of gas ports are and their diameters? Why couldn't we just do the exact same thing? Also what is 32g shot? I'm not familiar with that. Sorry for all the questions, but this is very interesting! 1) Gram to Oz converter 32g = 1.1288oz 2) about port conf , I've wrote above in #14 post, just click the second link (Eros post). I don't know the whole Molot know how, may
  4. The history of this model is the following, it was designed as superior most compact 12 Ga weapon for self defense, so designed to work only with magnum cartridges only (4 magnum buckshot shells is enough to stop anybody , if we speak about most compact version with 4 round mag). The first line production examples work only with semi-magnum or magnum cartridges. Russian customers ask Molot to modify it for ability to use hunting shot shells 32 g, as far as I know, Molot redesigned the gas block of the barrel, all the other pars is the same as on other models. As I wrote above there is this mod
  5. As far as I know Gas Block does not have gas ports, they are make in the barrel, so difference between models with difference barrel in gas port Dia. Pic of standard GB made by K-Var similar to Original Molot Pic of Molot IPSC V12 GB
  6. I talked to the guys at Sierra Ordnance about approaching the same project, and I think he said anything below 16" and you really start to run into problems. Since the Vepr is so new and the formula is not really out there for what exactly the Vepr needs to run reliably at shorter lengths. Here are a few modifications I pieced together from people attempting this move that might be required for the Vepr 12 to cycle reliably. 7. I will buy VEPR-12 VPO-205-03 with 12 inch (305 mm) barrel. Work perfect from the box. Pics by Eros as well as V12 (03) gas block configuration.
  8. Is that being produced right now? Model?Yes, it produced in small amount in Russia for various type of shotgun, internal Dia of MBC are made for customer needs.
  9. IMHO, for internal chopped barrels the best MBC custruction is something like this, that allow user to change internal chockes without any problem.
  10. We know you have some new pics of your VEPR 12's, so please share with us, stat! I will share all the pics if you give me the source you've seen them , - most my free time I spend for my four month daughter, so I don't have any time to my hobby. Maybe these pics is not a really new
  11. As I wrote above IMHO most S12 MB will fit to V12 without any problem with safety because their internal Dia bigger than barrel internal Dia, but is any MB maker made MB the same Dia as S12 barrel 18,3 mm shooter could have problem with the safety. I've seen only one MB that based on Original slotted cylinder FH, but this is exception. The pics of MBC designed by Ascer, based on FH
  12. I'm not familiar to US slotted FH for S12, if it made as ordinary FH (> 18,5 mm Dia), not as Original Saiga-12 slotted choke cylinder (18,3 mm Dia) - it is safety to use it on V12, other way it is like to play Russian Roulette, especially with Slugs or Semi/Magnum Buckshot shells - barrel damage, in that case, is not a warranty issue, as well as med aid coverage . hdskumm wrote above, that US FH has bigger internal Dia than the V12 barrel so there is not any problem to use it, it will work only as a FH not as Cylinder choke+FH, that extend barrel length a little bit. IMHO, the way
  13. Thanks guys! It is not my fault of missing at the forum:(((
  14. Original Molot FH is slotted cylinder choke that has marks C (0,0) on it, I'm not sure but IMHO IZMASH FH model on Saiga-12-030 is the same but has 18,3 mm instead of 18,5 mm internal diameter. Pic of original FH and Paradox for Molot Becas and Vep-12 VPO-205-02 shotguns
  15. As Muffman wrote should care to use only Flash hiders that are made as slotted cylinder chocks, as well other kind of chokes and paradox for Saiga-12 (18,3 mm), no problem to most Muzzle brakes.
  16. Some pics who to remove Retaining Plate from photo manual by Sergii
  17. The pic of Mossberg Road Blocker MB similar to Barrett .50 MB that is used by Jerry Mickulek on his shotgun. IMHO this MB can be easily adapted for Saiga-12. I don't know why US Saiga-12 gun parts makers still doesn't make MB for Saiga-12 base on these idea. The pic of MB based on idea that used by Mosberg and Barrett, and modified by Russian shooters, making MBC instead of pure MB.
  18. ATI wanted worked to Molot and made parts for Vepr-12, and as far as I know, Molot sent them all needed drawning for correct fitting their parts for Vepr-12, so the very close time you'll see a lot of parts from ATI for Vepr-12.IMHO this way is better for the customers, as well for companies that make the gun parts, then making pirate copies, when people 100% don't understand what their copying (GK-01 and rails from CSS) and even delete others thread where writer asking uncomfortable questions . That's all good and dandy but ATI probably has worse quality control then Izhmash.I wrote ATI as a

  20. $425 is for very very rich people have no sence. The price of GK-01 is 159 GBP and of the Vepr-12 is 1380 GPB, and if the US importer ordered them from Russia directly the price will be the same but in USD, I'm not sure 100%, IMHO rusmilitary sell GK-01 made by Molot Arms, not by Molot. I don't mention about useless three holes that make the Clone the worse then Original. It is not only my opinion, but also of Top world IPSC shooters and Molot engineers I don't know why the importer don't order GK-01 directly on Molot, IMHO the GK-01 from forged Al is the best, and, IMHO, Molot can
  21. They also has Original GK-01, NOT inferior pirate copy
  22. Hi Doug! Your version of bolt carrier is differ from Original with Bolt Carrier Rear Lug that has radius on Saiga as well on AK, and doesn't have on R&R (detail #11 on the pic 5 on the AK patent). Why you don't use radius on R&R bolt carrier?
