  1. That is a sharp looking shotgun. I really like it.
  2. Dam hoarders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! price would surely go down some if it weren't for all the magazine whores
  3. Define reasonable price? I suspect I am waiting for the same thing you are. After all, at the end of the day and after all the discussion of how great the OEM 8 are and how no self respecting man would even consider defending himself with anything less, it is still after all just a polymer magazine and I can't justify 150.00 So I will through out what seems reasonable to me..... How about 60.00 is that reasonable? Well to me its a bit steep at 60.00 but after all it is not being imported at present. I really doubt if we will see a price that I would call reasonable anytime real soon just beca
  4. I installed the push button unit CSS sells. The CSS website does not name the brand and the unit itself is marked as made in the USA but does not have a brand. The folder is aluminum. It has an alan head bolt through the hinge that can be tightened to eliminate play and two small alan head set screws that have to be adjusted with the unit removed from the gun. The set screws seem to work loose on mine but I may be able to remedy that with some locktite. The thing that bothers me about this folding device is the play when the stock is folded. Measuring between the but pad and the shotgun it's
  5. Thanks for the invite LocoToro wish I could go. I will be working weekends for the next two or three weeks then will be done with that for a while. It would be fun to meet up and do some shooting. Let us know next time plan on going. thanks again.
  6. Haha! Yep, and that was when the hair was short...Halloween 2010. All your sins are forgiven. BTW, good to see you the other day. How'd those stars turn out? I wish! Your avatar is clearly evidence of an intelligent creator.
  7. Thank you. I'm glad someone see's what I see Badass handguard? stock furniture with rail and holes? Bolt on parts, way over priced! I agree. Its down right shocking if not insulting
  8. I haven't take it apart before so ye... There will be praying! Not like these guns have warranties Actually I believe the guns do have a warranty.
  9. Can anyone tell me how much they are asking for one?
  10. Yep over travel limiter. I have one of Cobras custom triggers thanks to Bridis. I went with his Texas AK trigger with over travel limiter and it is one sweet smooth trigger. The limiter stops the trigger just as the hammer clears the hooks. I still have not had a chance to shoot my S-12 with the new trigger. Been working to many weekends
  11. I can only find dust covers for rifles at CSS
  12. Good call on the screw. Sounds like a strong possibility. I think that if it came down to damaging the gun or destroying the stock to get to the screw I would sacrifice the stock considering how hard S-12 parts are to come by.
  13. Wanting to keep the gun as light as possible rules out a quad rail. I think your second option may be the best.
  14. My Tromix with push button folder is right about 3 and 1/4" with the widest part being the saftey lever pivot point. My s-12 folds to the left so I have to add 3/4" for the charging handle for a total of 4"
  15. Right on the money there. The tweekers and derelicts walking the streets of Denver remind me a lot of zombies. Hell they even sound and dress the same.
  16. But it creates US jobs. Stabbing strangers keeps nurses employed too, that doesn't make it right. I like it...gona be my next tee shirt..."stab a stranger save a nurse"
  17. I'm sure they are good magazines. I looked at them but 4 mags shipped to me would cost as much as a brand new S-12 and for me comparing 4 polymer magazines to a new shotgun made it hard to justify.
  18. I am impressed with the four I bought.
  19. I go to Denver Guns and Ammo. They helped me with my 5.45 conversion. Talk to Joe, he does alot of saiga conversions and has a nice collection himself. They're on the SW side of town. They have the BEST price in town on 5.45 ammo (sardine can). Plus Joe's cool to talk to, knows alot about saigas. Good prices on guns too. I agree with you on 5280 armory. What's up with the attitudes at our local gun shops. Yep I noticed the same thing. I'm in Arvada 10 minutes from 5280. One visit was enough for me. They acted like they were doing me a favor to take my money so they didn't get any f
  20. Thanks for the contest Tac 47 I enjoyed it and congratulations to the winners.
  21. Just send them both to defequisimo. I'm sure he can use it. Thank you Bridis I can definitely put that retaining plate to good use. I am in the process of gathering parts for my first build and the Cobra custom trigger and retaining plate will go a long way toward this. The custom triggers from Cobra look awesome I can't wait to try one out. I really admire the spirit of generosity shown here. I made a contribution to the site today and am looking ahead for my chance to pay it forward in the future. Thanks again
  22. I would love the trigger if it is still available
  23. I'm finally working on my first build and am very interested in this mag well I would like in on this thank you
