FYI we went out a few weeks ago. The trigger break is awesome. Dont understand why I heard so much about the Smith trigger being smoother?? My wife shot 158 grain .357 out of the Ruger better than 124 grain .38 out of the Smith (granted a bigger rubber grip vs. the little wood one and weight difference). Much harder pull on the 642 IMO. I love that Ruger! Edit: Congrats MCASSgt.

I did not have to enlarge enlarge my three ports to run Federal bulk pack. I did have to enlarge the gas block which was partially covering two of them which seems to be an extremely common issue. A professional polish job never hurts either. Just my 2 cents

Sorry but you are asking the wrong people if you want someone to tell you "no.". I have over 1500 in mine and think it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I don't make a lot of money but it's all relative to what is important to you. Most here are very passionate about their saigas! Is it worth it is not even a question. To me I would much rather have my s-12 over a couple grand! It's like a Harley if you don't know you wouldn't understand. I took a pencil grinder to my GB about 15 min. later all ports where exposed.

I say someone that competes in 3 gun should win. Myself not included. Thanks for continuing to put out s-12 products!

I guess I should throw in there only the .07 gauge will fit in the ports so Im assuming the 3 are .077-.078" I have not shot it with the poly choke yet either. Finally got to the range today and wanted to give a report. Pre-conversion in its nuetered state it would run 00 buck on setting 5. It would NOT run bulk pack unless I put the booster piston which could be achieved on setting 5 and 00 on setting 4. I put about 300 rds through it with no change. Restored and sent bolt and carrier out to Pauly. Put 135 rds. through it today with the stainless piston. 00 on setting 3 and bulk pack on setting 5. She didnt miss a beat. All bulk was with 20 rd. mag dumps, 120 worth. Even with the added VCH it was a hungry beast. Wasnt going to put a pic up

If the - is past the detent when it bottoms you should turn it counter-clockwise until the - is lined up with the detent pin. that is your "1" setting. If when it bottoms out the - is before the detent the back it out until it reaches the pin 3/4-1 turn. That is "1" backing out 4 clicks to the + being 5.

Thats a hell of a good deal. By the time use purchase your s-12 you can dump that into it easy converting yourself and not have the mags. I have 2g in mine with mags.
