Intresting that this should be mentioned on a forum, dedicated to a forgien made product. Which I'm sure we all own one. I love my siagas, but yea I've felt the pressure to buy domestic everything for a long time. It's hard to compete with cheap prices of forgien labor. But when you start looking at WHY those products are so cheap...it's easy to see we aren't saving big $$, we're selling our future.

Glad it worked out for ya. I was soooo close to owning this rifle. : p

I guess what the councilmen was trying to convey was that if people continue to CCW, officers in Canton will continue to act like assholes, and if you can't understand that, it's cause your not from Canton, and don't know the limits to Canton PD's assholishness. That cop had so much authority coming out his ears, its not wonder he couldn't hear the drivers atempt to inform. It'll be a complete shame if that poor guy cant get a decent lawyer to fight these obviously bogus charges. Any atempt to call this anything other than a COMPLETE FAILURE by the LEO's involved is simply a piss poor atempt

I see two problems with drilling and taping like this: 1) Just like the op rod..over time it will wear and begin to wobble, and removing a tapped bolt that's been "set" isn't easy. It tends to eat up threads and gald, especally on stainless type alloys. 2) If you wish to change it or go back, now you have a hole to fill with, with what exactly? If you had a weld on handle you just chop it off with a saw, whip out the grinder, flapper wheel or file and feather it in....it'll look like it was never even there. Most importanly about welding is it's permanet and STRONG with ZERO possiblty for wobb

Conceal carry weapon for wife.

If she's competent. Sig P238. Great gun well made low recoil. It's a SAO so she'll need to get some practice in before she starts carring it all the time. It's essentialy a minature 1911.Great little gun. My wife has one and loves it. -
Looks like somebody spaced out at the grinding wheel. Or is this the new V plug?

That, or he spends his $$$ unwisely Nice try! It's never unwise to spend money on guns!

Best rifle lubricant?
poolingmyignorance replied to Jpanzer's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
Its VODKA! Doesnt do much for the gun but makes everything else run alot smoother. -
Easy . Use setting 1 for everything it will work with. Typically high brass and slug loads. Setting 2 is actually intendrf for these loads as well but obly after the system has became so fouled thay it will no longer operate on setting 1. Normally your field and target loads won' t work on one.

Sig Sauer 7.62x 39 (556R)
poolingmyignorance replied to poolingmyignorance's topic in Other Weapons - RIFLES (non-AK based)
I'm using steel cased tula 124 gr FMJ. I haven't been able to find enough brass ammo to rule that out. But If brass ammo is the problem it's a deal breaker, I've already talked to Sig about that and it's bullshit. They wanted me to try It, so I scraped up 60 rnds that ran me about 39 bucks!! I'll try some other steel, but brass is out! Technicaly it's not an AR...it's a long stroke gas piston. I guess I could put some pics of it broken down. Don't know if that'll help anybody identify the problem. -
Sig Sauer 7.62x 39 (556R)

Okay so I've had this rifle since Feb. and when I first got it I would have fail to load, fail to fire, fail to eject, after about 60 rnds. I sent it into Sig for service, and a nearly 2 months later got it back. Took it out to the range ran about 80 rnds through it with no issues. Then a few weeks later took it out to the country no issues unless I tried to rapid fire. Now last weekend I take it out and what happening is I'm getting fail to eject about 1 in 10 shots. The spend casing is getting caught betweent the bolt and the receiver, horizantaly so the front of the spent casing is smashed -

Call me a nerd, but thats damn funny! -
Back then you could just move out of town and be free again but the control freak mindset goes much further than guns in this day and age doesn't it. You can't rudely tell a man with a rifle on his shoulder that you are going to rummage through his things, touch his wife and kick his dog now can you? That is what the gun contol, cctv cameras(Orwell's 1984),airport leukemia scanners/groping,roadside gestapo checkpoints,ID demands(Paperzz Pleazze) for everything are for! Not for crime prevention but to SOCIALLY CONDITION YOU TO SUBMIT TO AN AUTHORITY YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY REASON TO RESPECT!

The 2008 campaign was the costliest in history, with a record-shattering $5.3 billion in spending by candidates, political parties and interest groups on the congressional and presidential races. That sum marks a 27 percent increase over the $4.2 billion spent on the 2004 campaign, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, which compiled the figures. The amount spent on the presidential race alone was $2.4 billion when all candidates and related expenses are included, the center found. You know it's all a big scam, when people will pay that much to get a job t

I hope your exaggerating about your reaction to being spoken to like that. It's hot heads with guns that are the cause of our problems in the first place. Bad attitudes and rash decisions are exactly what liberals try to paint gun owners as. I can understand why you don't like the idea, cause if what you said you'd do is accurate, you obviously can't control yourself. Glad to hear your not a cop, cause the last thing the world needs is another dickhead hiding behind a badge. For some reason the hardest thing for people to differenciate is fear and respect. Being intimidating does not mean

Wrong, Kenny. An officer cannot arrest you legally because he doesn't like your attitude. You are protected by freedom of speech to say and think whatever you wish. You may not use vulgar, profanity to do so. However that protection doesn't prevent the officer from looking for a technicality to arrest you on. Its just pathetic so many are afraid to stand up for our rights in a verbal altercation against authority. That group of you might as well sell your guns at the next buy back you obviously lack the spine to use them for anything outside the range and show room. That said yes a little tact
