All the 308s I've seen here have been the same price point as an s12. And with tapco shit on it, its likely unconverted. And north of 800 is to high imo. If you want it, then get it. I just wouldn't part with that much for a used Saiga. A vepr would be a different story.

I picked up a Glock 42. I also got a trigger kit for my S&W Shield 9 from Apex. The sear differences are pictured. The factory sear is on the bottom, and the Apex is on the top. You can see the difference. Along with the sear, the trigger return spring and the sear spring were replaced. I still havent replaced the firing pin blocker and spring, as Im waiting until I get my new sights, as I have to remove the rear sight to replaced the parts in the slide. So far, the trigger pull has been greatly reduced with the three parts I swapped. It shaved at least a pound of

You'll find one. Just be patient. Check other pawn shops in the area on a fairly regular basis and you'll be surprised what you come across. I wish I would have bought all the saigas I seen over the years from pawn shops for some of the prices they wanted. But now with the ban, they all seem to think they are pure fucking gold. As much as I love the Saiga, I dont feel that a stock one is worth north of 800 used. Fuck that. That puts you in SGL or SLR territory.

The only one I shot on the list is the 700 bdl. It had a smooth action, decent trigger, but wasnt my rifle. I dont think you'll go wrong with anything on the list though, really.

My next bolt rifle is going to be a Model 70 Ultimate Shadow SS in .270 or '06. I like the heavier bullets the '06 offers, but its not as flat as the .270. Tough call on this one Chile.

Pawn shops don't pay shit for their products. They low ball the fuck out of people, and guns are no exception. The good thing is that many of them don't really know what they have. I'd pay 400, but I haven't seen the weapon in question.

With the last war ending in a stalemate, sending troops there wouldn't be wise, IMO.. With the shitty ROE, it would likely have similar results as Iraq and Afghanistan. But then again, the majority would be a unifored enemy. Hard to say how it would play out.

The only AR I own is a DD. Its dead nuts accurate, reliable and a joy to shoot. But if the shit goes down I'm reaching for my SAM7Sf or my SGL. My AKs do all I could ask them to. YMMV.
