The Remington Slugger 2 3/4" (1560 FPS) is out of stock everywhere I looked online. Now that is bizarre.

I am having both FTF and FTE. I have one of the early models. I am about ready to take it to a gunsmith.

My weapon will not cycle either the 1300 fps or the 1200 fps. Does this mean that I need to manually operate the bolt until it cycles or is something else wrong? Thanks.

I have installed the gas booster bushing and the reduced recoil spring but I cannot get my weapon to cycle reduced recoil rounds. Anyone else have this problem?

I installed the long Firebird MKA 1919 handguard on my weapon and test fired it. All went well, but when I went to remove the handguard in order clean the weapon, I could not remove it. Has anyone else encountered this problem or am I doing something wrong?

I second the motion that we need an aftermarket drive block. I would rather just go ahead and replace the factory drive block now than wait for the inevitable failure.

The shooter apparently used the Bushmaster to shoot all his victims and the speculation is that the Saiga-12 with a 50-round drum in the trunk of his car was to shoot the first responders. He assumed that he could get back to his car after killing all his victims, but the police arrived sooner that he thought, so he killed himself.

This is the Saiga 12 Chest Rig that I bought: http://www.beezcombatsystems.com/Saiga-12-Chest-Rig-BCS-SAIGA-12.htm It is very well made, but the straps that fit over the top of the mags are too short. The straps have velcro at both ends but the velcro inside the rig do not go all the way to the top of the rig. What I am going to do is glue some velcro to the inside of the rig so that the velcro reaches the top of the rig and the straps can extend far enough to cover the top of the mags. I have looked at the following AK47 chest rig. It looks like the pouches are tall enough, but

Has anyone found a chest rig that will fit the factory 10rd mags? I bought a chest rig for 10 rd Saiga 12 mags, but apparently our mags are longer.

Mine came with a rail on the right side (the one without the charging handle) and a rail on the bottom. I mounted my AFG on the bottom and I'll mount my surefire light on the right side rail once my mount comes in Thanks for the info. Just ordered a handguard.

It looks like there is no picatinny rail on the sides; just on the top of the handguard. So where would you mount a weapons light?
