Dog, The springs like the mags are new. They work great with anything but the steel case. Have you loaded an 8 rounder full with Barnaul shells ? It is one heavy mag. I'm sure some dry lube in the mag will fix the problem. I'm just surprised that the steel cased shells don't cycle well or fit more that the 3 rounds in the 10 rounders. Feed angle? Jimhickey, The steel cased shells are not ment to be reloadable. I have hear of people trying and using wax to cap it off, however I have seen no range reports. Is silence the answer?

I'm going to try and add some light with this ammo when used with an 8 round mag, and the new 10 rounder. I have found that the 10 rounder will only allow 3 rounds to be loaded into the mag before the shells start to bind. How you see it in the picture is how it sets on the follower. I had to push the nose of the shell down to load the second the the third. I was able to fill the 8 rounder all the way as you would normally. The only problem I found was the weight of the rounds. The spring has a little problem pushing up the weight of the loaded mag without giving it a little shak

Thanks J. Interesting info on that site. It seems as though the deeper you dig the more info you have to pile through. It gets a bit confusing after you bounce from one site to the other. The info just goes and goes. Kinda like the big brother to Will's slippers: (Those Rock) I think I got a better understanding from the replies that good people have posted here, more than trying to make sense of it all on some of the web pages out there.

I was led to understand that a muzzle attachment was considered an "addon" part. So long as it is a US part it does not hurt, but does not help. ( As far as the parts count) I may be 100% wrong on this but better safe than sorry. If anyone knows for sure. Please show us the light.

I was thinking of doing this myself. Pardon the question but how are you getting 9 us parts? the tapco t6 sks stock is 3 and the 20 round tapco mag is 3. Did I miss something? A cold glass of water to the face would be appreciated.

Was Mal's gun based on anything real? I did some diggin on the web a while back and outside of the "western" feel I could not find anything that it was based on. If you find anything let me know. Did some diggin', this is what I found. Mal's gun is a modified Taurus .38 Cal revolver. The grip frame was cut off and a new one machined and welded on, to resemble the grip of an old single-action revolver, the barrel was cut down and a new octagonal barrel made for it, along with the other added pieces to make it look so unique. It was made by Applied Effects. See the thread
