  7. A buddy of mine was looking to get the taurus or the thunder 5. They are both built well but I think holding them will help your decision. I personally like the thunder 5 better. It really is built like a tank as well as a "coolness" factor that (in my opinion) that the taurus lacks. Don't get me wrong I like that the taurus has a longer barrel making shot shells more realistic at distance, but the idea of the thunder 5 is that it's made for shooting up to 10-15 feet, ie a close home defence pistol that wont create a new highway tunnel in the event you miss your target.
