Hell I shoot brown bear .223 laquer coated exclusively out of 2 AR's and my Saiga. NEVER had a problem. Shoot all that steel case "laquer or poly" then shoot brass you will see some failures. But I shoot the shit out of it and I still cannot believe there are so many internet fudgies going around about steel case, laquer coated .223 being the worst ever.... I don't like poly, it just loves to rust, fucking rust magnet. Hell I don't think half the shit claimed to be poly coated is coated with anything, damn sure aint sealed.

Bout a .50lb+ trigger, heavy sucked to carry, very inaccurate, bad on the hand and wrist and a joke with buckshot. I like it man. I want to do this with a PSL scope and AK mount. I also want to use the PSL upper HG so I have a gas tube with a loose endcap I have tapped all the way down the gas tube. I will try to shape the PSL upper "gotta shave a little off" to fit. Anyway nice rifle!

My 22" it has future plans only have the doe to use parts I already had on it. 18" barrel with AMD or 74 style brake planned. Gonna scope it side mount 4 power and attach bipod to receiver. Looking for PSL furniture.

Well, like the PSL its made I would treat it like a DMR. A scoped shot to to provide at distance shots. I am sure the stringing you experience is still well within the Silhoutte. Have you tried some of the tricks PSL shooters use which are kinda effective. Some people have tapped the gasblock on the PSL and inserted different size inserts to controle gas. Gas tuned to slow down the bolt for minimum force to produce cycling should help, theoretically speaking...
