  1. It sucks, of course it's still faster than the old days. I sent one in Oct 5. Check cleared Oct 15. Form did'nt go pending until Nov 5, and it still has'nt been approved. This is my 2nd. Last one in April was a lot faster.
  2. Good to hear, let us know when it's ready to go. I'm interested.
  3. Thanks for the update. Delays are to be expected. Take the Magpul UBR stock for instance, delay after delay. Don't rush it and release an inferior product.
  4. It does take some beating to get the dovetail to move. It would probably help to put some penetrating oil on it and let it set for several hours.
  5. 3. 4 pc Olive Drab Ladder type. I piece has been cut. 20.00 I'll take these. IM me payment info.
  6. That statements a little off. The new ones do work out of the box, very nicely. I would have bought more when MAA was having their sale, but those pesky drums came a long and took all my funds.
  7. Hav'nt cleaned mine yet. I was gonna use what SWR recommends, Kroil or WD-40.
  8. Nice, how do you like the Trident? I've read it's supposed to be a little quiter and more reliable on the 34. What kind of scope are you gonna use? I've been considering a Doctor type sight. You have to focus on the sights a lot harder with the can blocking your sight picture.
  9. +1, I have a 512 and thats about what mine looks like also.
  10. Big +1 for TheGunHustler, great guy to deal with. Man of his word.
  11. Hell yeah! Glad to see its about completed. I think I need one too.
  12. Looks like fun, especially that cable slide. Nice videos.
  13. I used a Jarvis barrel, but they are expensive. I have read the Lone Wolf barrels are about as good and half the cost.
  14. Finally got my first can, what better to put it on than a Glock 19. SWR Trident 9.
  15. Here's a Thread from another forum. Also a Paragraph from Chris Janowsky's book on Survival (WSI). "When hunting I use a .300 Weatherby magnum rifle. It has a very flat trajectory at longer ranges and hits like a hand grenade. I don't believe there is an animal I can't kill with one shot at ranges up to 400 yards with this rifle. But for charging grizzly at close range, a 12 guage shotgun loaded with rifled slugs is by far the finest bear-stopper I've seen. If you are not hunting but want a good bear defense gun, the 12 guage with slugs is the answer. then only remains that you learn to shoot
  16. Yet another example, if you have a lot of money your above the law. If it was one of us common folk, they would have laughed and said deal with it. House arrest at home, boy thats hard time.
  17. Bulk Wally-world Federal 7 1/2 lead shot works well in my gun. Also this to, but its a little more expensive.
  18. Thread link Here's the thread.
  19. And after you get one, you need to crank out a couple of those AKS-12's. That is a sweet little 12 guage.
  20. A test on an Saiga 12. Kind of interesting. link This was a 2002 issue. Can't get the whole article cause you have to be a subscriber. Bacically the cover came off during firing and they quit testing for safety reasons, and gave it a don't buy rating. If I passed up on all the guns they give a don't buy rating to, I would'nt have a 1/3 of my guns. The S12 is by far my favorite.
  21. Posted on Arfcom by Noxspector. Shooting 3 in. slugs.
  22. Here's my story. I went to buy some more Federal shells today. I shot 6 shot before and had about the same probs. I made it thru a few mags with no malfunctions, but this was'nt the norm. The ammo gods must have been watching, they were pretty much out of all the individual Federal boxes of 12 guage. So on a whim I picked up the value pack, 100 rounds of Federal 7 1/2 shot. I went to my bowling pin spot today and proceeded to shoot pins. Wow, I made it thru 100 rnds with only 2 malfunctions. One was caused by me doing a tactical reload. One in the chamber and a fresh/full 10 rndr under. Caused
