  1. Awesome job then man. +1 for burntpowder. Now you can help all the minions here!
  2. I would be interested in trading a hk p2000sk .40 cal with 300 rounds of ammo/ 300rounds of .223 for it and a NIB glock lol
  3. Whats funny is I run mine (newer css puck short nipple) with the bump facing the op rod and works just fine for me. Run em either way honestly. Does it make a difference really which way it goes greg?
  4. I have had best luck with AGP I would be willing to trade a SGM 8 rounder for a AGP 10 rounder any day lol... PROMAG sucks my ass. Factory Izzy's rock.. wish they made a factory 15 round stick
  5. You used a 11/32 drill? What size bit did you use? Pulled off the big "M" thing today. What size was the drill that you gave me for the gas block again? I have it in my case and dont feel like pulling it out... Im happy , bet it was a blast for SURE! Congrats sir!
  6. I think I used a 11/32 drill instead of the d mod.. I believthats what it was.
  7. i shoot cheap ammo all day long with dph knob, css puck.. ports drilled right throw it on 5 and im rocking, even out of my md arms drum.
  8. Kvar says sgl as does a few gun shops in vegas. You can find some sgl12-09 still floating around
  9. I can find converted sgls for about 1100 $
  10. Ok jared .. a few things .. one #1 3 ports = .093 4 ports = .073 (that usually gets them running just right.. but abunch of well known and smart people on these forums suggest 5/64th drill which would put you around .078.) #2 Drill out the gas block which is obviously obstructing the "4 ports". If you only have 3 on a 4 port gun. Your gunsmith didnt correctly solve the entire problem. Open that gas block hole to 11/32??? Might look into that ill get back and edit when I find out but its relatively close to thr hole you have to drill from. Make sure not to hit the thread undercut in
  11. Not bad.. RJF stocks are on sale with DPH for 39.99$ Mine without my md arms drum on it. In a box after cleaning.
  12. http://dpharms.com/products/ak-47_furniture/red_jacket_firearms_aluminum_stock.html THAT'S A HELL OF A DEAL!!!
  13. Damn rayne got the big B.
  14. Im happy with the cheesy quad rail on the end and imo having red dot or reflex sight on a saiga 12 is almost if not all but pointless. Again thats my opinion. Put it on paper at 30-40 yards all day long. Lol really its just another brake and furniture for the stock.
  15. SGLs were always something near that kind of price. You pay to have KVAR look a gun over and hand it to you. Most people are happy with what they get and the better resale value though. They must have over looked the gas ports.. But she is decent.. does what I need it too. Wanting to check the autoplug out soon. And those damn recoil pads keep getting pushed back for the bonesteel. Maybe strip and cerkakote. Or ill just keep it all scratched up and purchase a vepr or ak12 when they release. This was my first and I know it top to bottom for the most part.

    Im out...

Just use blue loctite. Worked perfect and could still get it off with handtools and a blow dryer.. incase you have to take it apart.
  17. I laid 1125 $ for my sgl12-09 in feb at the height of the crisis. I had the money. I knoew I over paid. But sporters were anywhere from 9-1k. Hell with that haha. Really isnt too overpriced but I had to order mine from las vegas lol. Texas was out!
  18. Normal for the sporter mod was 500-600 $.. we are getting close.
  19. Change your settings anytime you want just for the right loads. Magnums buckshot highbrass bird #1 Low brass birdies #2. Mine gets so hot you cant touch it .. gas tube included. I punched 100 rounds in like 8 min and hasnt affectd anything just melts plastic faster lol
  20. O .073 4 port .078 4 portBigger if needed to a max of .093" for any port. 30* angle or flatter. (20* would be better as long as they won't be running into each other.) I did mine to .073 because ive read a few companys run that dim to usually get them going fine. My .073 works perfect for mine. 7/8oz Winchester universal cycle just fine. I could see .078 if you never reprofiled and smoothed your friction points.
