If's its for shtf I would say the dsa for replacement parts and its a proven design. A kel tec hasn't been around long and who knows how long they last? With that said I own a full size inch fal and I will, in a few years, buy a kel tec but only if they still have good reviews. This is my opinion: (I know what your 2 choices are) I would say for a shtf you might want a AR just for the fact that it is a good guy weapon. Its something that people know is not to be fucked with because "those army guys have em". My next choice is either my fal or saiga 12.

I didn't have any rust spots on my stock or tromix plug.

Thought of something. What was the gas setting? 1 or 2? The bigger the number the bigger the flow.

Welcome Dave its been a couple years for your first post. ETA I'm not sure what could cause your extraction problems someone will be along shortly with that. But your reload times will improve with practice. You still kicked the shit out of the guys reloading 1 at a time! Tube feeders.

Is it hitting point of aim at any other range? If not it sounds like you need to adjust the rear sight.

The MD-20 is $100 on the prebuy but will be $120 normally now. MD arms is coming out with the double stack mags, Chaos is coming out with steel (8 round I think) and 10 round drum mags. I agree with everything that billy is saying lots of new things happening. Buy one of what ever you think you would want. I started with a AGP because that was what there was then and I haven't had any problems with them (Gen 2s). But now the professional 3 gun guys think the surefire is the ticket, even when they can only load 10 rounds. The AGP's and surefire both now have ways that you can cut them

Has there been any word on the capacities of the double stack. Mike was talking about there being dif ones. The doubles are differently on my "to buy list" the pro mags are on the "not to buy" list. The company needs to step back and redesign all of their products to get a little bit of quality into them instead of quantity. You just hear way to many complaints about them.
