  1. I have no idea of the steps involved in your biz. But in mine I looked at the more complicated products I was producing and realized that I was putting alot of time into producing things that were not only labor intensive, but raw material expensive. I looked at the the commonality of raw ingredients and I eliminated some of the products that I made. I was buying cases of ingredients that ran $200 a case but I only used for in the production of one product that was not in the top 10 sellers. It was not a popular decision with some customers, but I eliminated some offerings that fre
  2. Are you a 13B? No, but the Paladin is an awesome artillery piece.
  3. My opinion, based on tactical training classes and 3Gun, is that the drum is great for static defense. It could be anywhere, but the point is you need a nearby resupply point. You cannot easily carry multiple drums. If you were in your BOL (or any defensive position) and had drums in place it would work. If you are going to have to move and shoot. Reloading on the move, or were out of a defensive position I think they are far too bulky and slow to reload.
  4. Hang in their Juggernaut! I just had to reinvent my biz too. Which included moving to a lower cost building in a less desirable part of town. Don't be afraid to explore other avenues of business, these days you need to be very creative and flexible.
  5. Aww come on guys, I've been very quiet lately. Can't I go off just once in awhile? It's tradition, it's expected, it's just he way we operate around here.
  6. Yeah but they made me gain weight so I've been trying to kick the habit.
  7. Ever heard of Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot? Atheists and some of the worse mass murderers this poor planet has ever seen. I'm tempted to throw Hitler in that pile too even though he was supposed to have been raised as catholic. Yet a bit of research should reveal to anyone that at best he was a pagan but all he really believed in was himself and his own power. So you might want to put that self rightous high horse your riding back in the stable buddy because atheists can be just as evil as anyone else. Stalin, Mao, & Pol Pot were political leaders of countries and did whatever they
  8. Cool story. Another BG down with a message to his fellow thugs. We won't be afraid.
  9. Sorry, can't let this one pass... So unless I believe in YOUR god, I cannot possibly have any morals? Wow, isn't that what the taliban say? Quick question for all you people who somehow equate not believing in gods, devils, demons, ghosts, etc. to being immoral or evil in some way. When was the last time you heard of atheists burning people at the stake, or torturing them with inquisitions, or beheading them, or trying to wipe out an entire race, etc, etc.?? And as far as the ten commandments go, yea, this all powerful, all knowing, all seeing, invisible god wrote them down on
  10. Manual of Arms. I bought the S12 because I needed a new shotgun. It's the best fighting shotgun you can get/afford. Liked it so much I bought the X39. I get 2MOA and it has never failed me, it's an AK! So then the next, obvious, step was a Saiga .308. Their not pretty guns, but they are robustly built and reliable. Just what you want in a SHTF battery. They have the same controls. When I train with one, I'm training with them all. Hell, some of the parts interchange! S12= CQC X39=Goto gun .308=DMR
  11. Not going to happen for awhile-no more bumps people. We need to let this one be for now.
  12. Love that song, sounds like something from one of the Blade movies. Female vampires are so hot.
  13. I have one and it is a quality piece. And 6500rpm, to the best of my knowledge the stock is the part that counts, not the adapter tube.
  14. I was shopping for a upgrade shotgun to my 500A1 and saw http://www.tromix.com/PJ_saiga_01.mpg and knew I was looking at the ultimate fighting shotgun currently available. How many shotguns can put 8 shells in the air at the same time? Lets do the math. That's 8 rounds x 9pellets of 00buck = 72 x 33 caliber pellets traveling at 1100fps.

  16. I have a new generation Millet DMS-1 scope. I have not used it extensively yet but it has performed well so far. http://www.millettsights.com/controller.php/cat09/dms_reddot
  17. It can get very addicting. Now I just can't go to a static range anymore other than for R&D.
  18. Just did the match yesterday with these guys @ mi3gun.com and it was a hoot! VERY nice set up. With the "helicopter", the door breaching blind stage, and the dark house, it was simply outstanding. I would highly recommend shooting a match with them. It's almost a 4 hour drive for me, so I won't be up every month. But there were four of us and everyone agreed it was well worth trip.
  19. I have the Ultimak rail and where the bands that strap it down to the barrel are you will have to remove some material to clear both bands. I have not done it with the SF hand rail specifically, but I did it with a factory handguard and a UTG quad rail, where I did not use the top obviously. On both the factory piece and the lower part of the quad they both needed to be relieved in the area of the Ultimak bands.
  20. The logical side of me wonders about the proliferation of monster handgun rounds, what the hell is the point? Massive recoil, limited accuracy (in the short barreled models), expensive ammo, etc. My fun side says "hell yea!" But in the end, if I go big it will be a 10mm. It would work as a sidearm even in bear country.
