Should be almost up against the top of the vented part. My Tri-rail doesn't work with the Ultimak. Maybe because I have the first release tri-rail which is a little taller? I was really bummed when I finally got my Ultimak last week. Cameron, could you maybe sell me the shorter tri-rail wings, or is the whole tri-rail a different design? I just ordered a quad rail from you last week for the gun I had the tri-rail on, but I would really like to be able to use the tri-rail with ultimak on a different Saiga-12. No problem. Dont forget to go back to 1 w/the high power stuff. Also, you may want to shoot some high power stuff first to help break it in and make it more reliabe for the the low power stuff. It breaks it in and smooths things out. I shot about 50 or so slugs through it first on setting 1 and then went bird shot on 2 w/no problems.

Have you checked your gas plug? If you are not shooting magnum loads and are just doing bird shot type shells, gas plug goes to 2.

Anyone ACTUALLY put an ultimak on the tri rail yet? The pics I find w/the ultimak make it look like it will not fit w/this rail. If you look at the bottom edge of the ultimak and follow it to a point we can compare to on the receiver cover, the rails edge comes up to high for them to both fit. Can you see what I mean? I love this rail, just dont know if it will work together. The other option would be to get Cobras rail, that would work no problem. Am I off base here? Can anyone else see it?

However, armed with the knowledge of how to convert a Saiga platform, I can save a ton by purchasing all Saigas and converting them instead of throwing my money away on AR platforms. Throwing away $ on an AR? Oh come on now......seriously.
