Since Bulgaria is stopped imports of their Circle 10 AK mags to the U.S. for at least 2 years. I've been trying to get some manufacturers to make some 5.56x45 AK mags, but they’re still don’t seem to be for the idea, “Until” enough people ask for them to be made. I still think that if someone made some steel 5.56x45 AK mags or maybe even a polymer mag with a steel top/feed lip area, that would be mated to the polymer mag body, like the Lancer 5.56 AR mags, or the CZ Scorpion Hybrid mags by Manticore Arms and Prepper Gun Shop, they would sell like crazy. The making of a 5.56x45 AK maga

Hi all, Total newbie here. Anyone have suggestions for a magazine loader for my .410 mags and drum? I tried loading my new Saiga .410 15-rd magazines and 30-rd drum by hand and it didn't go particularly well. Got the mags loaded to 12 and had to quit. Drum only took 10 before it wouldn't load anymore, at least not easily. Any direction or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Search didn't yield any particularly relevant threads so I'm starting new. Sorry if it's been covered. Would appreciate any links if I'm oblivious. Thanks.

[both mags SOLD] For sale: Two OEM IzhMash 8 round magazines for non-magwell models of the Saiga-12. New condition, never used and looking great. These are the only mil spec, "high capacity" Saiga-12 mags. Very heavy duty and reliable. If you own a Saiga-12, you owe it to yourself to have at least one of these, especially if you ever use your S12 for home defense duty. No longer importable due to the sanctions. Important Note: I cannot and will not ship these magazines to California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey or

I recently picked up a Legion Saiga 12 030 Taktika and have been having some magazine fitment issues. Out of the box the factory 4 rounder had to be slapped once or twice with a good amount of force to get it to lock once inserted into the magwell. I didn't think too much about it at first but after picking up 2 factory 8 rounders and 4 SGM 10 rounders the problem has persisted and I'm not 100% sure how to remedy it. I've inserted and removed the mags a good amount to try and break them in but that has not seemed to help. Any known quick fixes for this? I'm assuming I will have to sand the mag

8 Tapco 30rd AK47 magazines. They have never been used, never even been assembled. They have been stored in a cool, dry place, so they're in perfect condition. I bought them several years ago as repair kits in CA, and I don't want to have them around anymore. I'm selling all 8 at once, no exceptions. PRICE: $6 each, plus $12 shipping = $60 total I accept PayPal. Thanks in advance for taking these off my hands!

Today at a local 3 gun match I had a total failure of one of my csspecs vepr mags in my shotgun. While firing my vepr, the locking lug on the magazine sheared off at the spot weld. After closer inspection of the piece that broke off, it looks like there are 4 spot welds going up the locking lug, however the metal is at least 1/8" thick and only one of the spot welds had penetrated and attached the piece to the body of the mag and it broke during the firing of the shotgun. I'm hoping this mag was just a lemon as the other 3 I purchased have functioned flawlessly. I have not yet contacted csspe

Hello all, I have a few questions regarding the parts for conversions and modification of some magazines for LRBHO. First: Looking at the conversion kits at California Shooters Supply at my options for converting my newly purchased IZ-433, and I have some concerns about the trigger guard. I don't really see any information showing if either of the trigger guard options will interfere with the tab up front for the mag well. I would imagine the answer is no, but I have no way to make a real mock up other than to use the pins in the receiver for an approximate of where the trigger guard will e

UPDATE 07/23/14: EVERYTHING IS SOLD Hi guys, I am looking to sell the following Saiga-12 drums. NOTE ABOUT SAIGA-12 DRUMS: These drums are designed for the Saiga-12 models without a mag well only and WILL NOT WORK in the mag well equipped Saiga-12s, Vepr-12s or Cantamount Furies. Due to the liberal manufacturing tolerances causing slight variations in mag catch sizes between different Saiga-12 weapons, both MD Arms and ProMag ship their drums with generously oversized locking lugs and fitting instructions which involve filing. They might lock into your gun as they are or they might requi

Hello everyone, I am looking into putting a bullet guide on my Saiga .223 so that I can hopefully get cheaper magazines. My problem is that I am not doing a conversion to more of a traditional AK on my rifle. I am looking for more of the low profile Dragunov look.. so I don't want a big ol 30 round mag hanging out.. Just seems like it would look goofy. Does anyone know there are many 10-15 round AK 47 mags for a decent price for a .223? Or should I just deal with a 30 round or stick with Saiga specific mags? I've done a little bit of searching and haven't found any that aren't more

MAGWELL SMOOTHING: The magwell has some residual rough areas from the injection molding process. Sanding these down helps improve smooth mag insertion and removal. The main area to be sanded smooth is at the inside front of the magwell. The inside rear of the magwell can also be sanded, but mine did not require any. However, do not sand the inside sides of the magwell, as these help stabilize the magazine while in the firearm. RUSSIAN MAGAZINE FITTING: The 8 round magazines from Legion USA Inc worked perfectly without any fitting, but the 8 rounders I received from RusMilitary would

I recently got my non stock mags for my Gen 1 Saiga. I havent fired it yet, but after loading the 5RD Mag into the gun with the bolt closed (no BHO). I find it pretty hard to charge. After Pulling back the Bolt I noticed it left a small groove in the shell. judging from the amount of force required to charge it I am just going to guess it won't cycle. Has anybody experienced something similar to this? Is there anything I can do? I have a Gen 1 unconverted Saiga 410. The factory mags work just fine. I am using 3" Winchester SuperX Slugs. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks, DM
