TonyRumore 1,332
Anyone know how the base plate is removed from the Saiga 12 magazine?
ASSASSIN 1
Hi there you should find a small pin in the mags floorplate , press this in with a pin punch and slide the mags floor plate off. the pin i mention is fitted to a foot plate on the magazine spring. all the best assassin
TonyRumore 1,332
Thanks. For some reason I never pushed on it, since it appeared to be a sprue off the injection molding process.
TonyRumore 1,332
Well that didn't take long. New U.S. made Tromix Saiga-12 stainless steel magazine base plates will be available by the end of the week. $8ea shipped. Integratedj 1
Ummmm, how about instead of just a floorplate, you make an entirely new mag, you know, a bigger one. That would be great. yeah, uh huh. that's it. Really though, good work.
Gaddis 1,689
Or, (hint, hint), how's about an American company stepping up to the plate and making an affordable, competitive (as in Saiga qualty) version of magazine fed AK type shotgun? (with the current situation on Saiga's the way it appears now).
Cobra 76 two 2,677
Wow a blast from the past! Can we get some hi cap S-12 mags please? Gaddis buddy I believe that is in the works...Wierd how time repeats itself. Now here we are in another Saiga drought, and there are a few new companies popping up to make new and interesting products for the Saigas. It won't be long before at least one of them makes a whole new gun.
lelandeod 179
I'd love to get my hands on a couple of 10 round Saiga mags! Wow, wouldn't that be cool?!
headshot 52
Wow......this seems like it would be embarassing considering Tony's expertise now.
Cobra 76 two 2,677
I don't think anyone should be embarrassed, especially Tony. What's embarrassing is when you want to know how to do something and you are too stupid to ask someone who knows.
