Davehal9000 0
What slugs do you guys recommend for the Saiga-12? No specific need for them, just "what if" ammo. I have a plychoke fitted.

gtnichols 51
My favorite is breneke KO 1oz slugs made in Germany Accurate devastiting, relatively cheap and FUN!
ML Roak 0
federal tru-ball (not low recoil) papered the best out of my S-12, the winchester gray box weren't bad either, mine didn't like the wolfs or the remingtons. As far as slugs go, just about every gun is different, the only way to know what it likes is to shoot a few boxes of each on paper.
GTwannabe 1
Wolf (German subcontractor) slugs shoot well from my Saiga-12. They cloverleaf @ 50 yards.
THE_HUNTER 2
Any slug is good slugs for the S-12. I too like the Centurion Ammo, it is a potent round that groups all projectiles tightly!
darick 0
Winchester Super X, 2-3/4", hollow point, rifled slugs are good at 50 yards.
Wakko 10
I shoot Winchester Low Recoil Law Enforcement slugs almost exclusively. Not because it's better or worse than any other, but because there's sixteen (wait, fifteen...did shooting today!) cases of it that nobody uses anymore!
jasecloud4 2
Remington Bear Buster. Hands-down best out of mine. Can be painful to shoot though if not wearing earplugs. Is it consistent? Very consistent. Many times the ball and slug holes end up touching, point of aim to a degree. Really hard cast balls too.
dnp 1
Gotta LOVE this forum! Centurion ammo on the way. Never knew of it before.
kellysguy 1
I can stuff 10 Wal Mart value pack slugs into a regular size Fed Ex box at 130 yards with Krebs Ghost ring sights rested. It freaks people out. Can't beat $8.27 per 15 rnds. box size is similar to a normal computer monitor, maybe a bit larger. DEFINATLY a torso hit. Gotta open un the Poly Choke one setting past slug to get it to hit right. Your results may vary
