Okay, what is it?

If you're a member, go to the main page. Scroll down to the 'Fight Club' forum It tells you what it is. Since this is intended to keep nonmembers out, may I suggest a post put up to direct questions to the staff rather than posting it to let minors know what they have to do to see? I'm assuming this is why this section is password protected?

If you're not logged in (which requires you to be a registered member), the Fight Club sub-forum doesn't even show up at all on the main page.

Non-members can't get into what they don't know is there, even with the password.

It worked fine for me. I think what is throwing people is that the password field is already filled in and they think that all they have to do is click to submit the password, and then they are receiving the 'incorrect password' error.

1. You have to be a registered member and be logged-in to even see the "Fight Club" forum.

2. The password for the "Fight Club" forum is in its description, on the main page, available to all registered members. Please take a moment to read the description and you will see it.

I am not trying to limit people that want to go there, I am trying to make it a bit easier for the people that do not want to be exposed to it for whatever the reasons may be.

Thank You ALL for your cooperation!

Max

yeh, and?? part of the complaint was that people dont want to see it in searches, either.

I used to love soliciting vendors and being told "not at this time" with them citing the fact that certain things come up right in your face. Ya know like FUCK THIS or PORN or FUCK THE GOVERNMENT.

I am pretty sure that there is a way to make the fight club NON SEARCHABLE in admin control panel for the board, and am pointing this out to MAkc, hoping he can take a look and see if my memory serves me right. I know how everything behind the scenes takes only a few minutes to do and all!

The entire "other" section should be the same deal as the fight club, for that matter. If people WANT to have a laugh, or argue, or get miffed about the latest political drama, they know right where to go.

This is a gun business, not Mad comics, the house floor, or a boxing ring. That stuff was separated off for that VERY reason, and it should just be finalized and over with. Dont remove it, but get it the hell out of the public eye, as much as possible.

This is all a mute point anyhow, coming from me. Take care now!

I couldn't see them in the View New Posts search, until I'd logged on to the fight club (entering password) then they showed up.

Just as a test, I logged out. When I logged back in, the fight club posts once again did not show up in the View New Posts search.

Did you try logging out, and then back in to see if you can still see them in the View New Posts search?

It likely doesn't matter, but when I clicked on Log Out, I was in the Fight club.
