BronCobraJet 80
The DMZ has been patrolled for some time now by machine gun robots developed by Samsung. I don't think they are human controlled - they rely on artificial intelligence. They are scary as hella looking! There are vids on youtube.

Was disqualified from my hometown science fair in High School for it being a Weapon. I fried an old desktop from 25 yards. The screen wouldn't even turn on. Total cost to build $25 Scale it up and I could fry anything from an office building to a city block for under $1000. However a simple Estes rocket pulling a few yards of 1/8" steel cable into the blade or rotor would take it out too. Edited April 23, 2009 by KrisFox

A net made out of steel cable pulled by a rocket! Or fired from a spud gun.
