BronCobraJet 80
That is cool as shit! I googled "aluminum sponge" one time for craps and giggles, and it turns out they DO make it. They use it for wall panels, ceiling panels, and one company sells it encased in resin as executive table tops and such. It is also used in the automotive industry as a frame stiffener for pillars and floors. Amazing. One other time I googled "carbon fiber bomb" after reading how grinding on a carbon fiber dash would create an explosive dust. I wondered why that wasn't used in bombs and stuff. Turns out that the way we knocked out the electricity in Bagdad before we bombed, was to use strands of carbon fiber rolled around a core, about the size of a coke can, and hundreds of these were placed in a drop bomb. When they released them, the carbon fiber unwound and would drape over the high power lines and short them out. This internet is a cool damn place.
