I have never, ever visited that part of this website. Perhaps some threads I have commented on have been moved there but I really have no idea. A real fight club would be an annual Saiga-12.com convention. Typed words not allowed. Just the "guns" men have hanging off of their shoulders and a cage of some design to house the members who dislike each other. Primitive...perhaps! But when the big dogs showed up the little dogs would hush their yapping. Hell, Saiga-12.com could sell tickets for charity. And I think it should be called trash talk forum. Fighting is an honorable art...trash talk without any intention of actually backing anything up is just bullshit! And since I'm popping off...how about them Indianapolis Colts...can anyone say "SUPERBOWL"! :super: Oh...I am not going to vote. This is America and if people wish to insult each other in an endless back and forth then that is fine and dandy by me. I've been watching (and hearing) women and politicians do it since I was born.

Max came up with, and created the Fight Club a few years back due to escallating tensions between certain members and staff, to have their (how did he put it) "very own little pissing ground to ruin the forum with".

After it was made, there was a decision to permanently hide the actual "trash can" totally from the public and staff, to alleviate some issues that were occuring, such as search engines seeing crap that was thrown out for one reason or another, and also to help prevent tampering with deleted posts, for whatever reason.

Then it eventually became obvious to Max that the fight club should be passworded, so that the general membership did NOT have to see some of these threads popping up from time to time that were really a bunch of crap that this site did not need.

All of this was a cumulative effect of the vision of the board expanding in the future, and going through its growing pains. One of the major complaints that was received from potential business members was a distinct showing of nasty language, and X rated material on this site, which many vendors, as well as new members, (in their right minds) would not be a part of.

Me personally, I dont give a rat's ass what you do with that crap of a section, or the funny section or the political sections. I am here to deal with saigas. This site is no longer the fun for me that it once was, and I personally dont care one way or the other about seeing ANYTHING non-gun related on here.

I SAY PASSWORD ALL THREE SECTIONS and be done with it, so that the rest of us do not have to sift through the political garbage, the pornographic material, or the banterings of school children.

I can tell ya, if that section werent there, it would be a lot less "comfortable" around here.....not sure whats prompting the question of getting rid of it. Its a handy thing to have around to move an out of control thread into.

I do know that it would be a nice change to not have to scroll through 3 pages of new posts every day, and give up on locating someone that needs help, or a current issue, due to the NON GUN amounts of crap that I have come up on my screen.

people are going to bitch and whine, and moan and groan, post vulgar images, sick jokes, and talk about oh how bad politician A or B or C is, whether you give them a section to do it in or not. If you get rid of those sections that are in place now, instead of just passwording all of them, and moving all relavent material that is posted into them, well, its going to go back into the mainstream of the site, regardless of intent.

I would like to see it stay as is, but then again, I don't own or run the forum. However, it is nice to have a place for people to vent their frustrations at each other for whatever reasons. And the Patriot/Crusader stuff is classic :lolol:

at least bring down a mop and some clean soapy water.

+1

Maybe have a week long limit & then the thread get's dumped automatically.

Then you wouldn't have such an accumulation of B.S. & you still have the occasional fun.

Where would the guy's who live down there go?

You know, the more I look at this picture, it strikes me as who in the HELL would make fun of homeless people. With the currant administration (obama) that we have it seems like a pretty heartlees fucked up judgement to make on a person. The picture I see you posted shows a guy hugging a dog with all he's got, and the dog is loving him back as well. Many people are close to losing everything, and the fucking humans around them don't give them this kind of loving feedback. Paulyski, you must be one fortunate son of a bitch to be able to make fun of others troubles. Not all homeless people are caused by drugs, alcohol, or mental illness. The local Monroe Shock Absorber company (Tennecco) Just announced they were closing here, displacing 500 jobs in a county that experts say can only absorb 150. It must be nice to be in a position to be able to make fun of all the homeless people that will result from that plant closure. I know shit is bad all over the country, but for you to post a picture and make fun of people that don't have it quite as good as you do is reprehensible. FUCK YOU IN YOUR GODDAMN ASSHOLE, BUDDY! Most people that lose their jobs , when they are living paycheck to paycheck don't really have a choice. They can stay in a "Christian" shelter and listen to the preaching day and night, or try to make it on their own. For some motherfucking reason, being homless or jobless has replaced the "I'm Pregnant" disgust with Americans. There was a time when families binded together, but if a girl was pregnant out of wedlock it was un acceptable. That has seemingly changed to be if you don't have a job, you are somehow considered subclass, and the teenage pregger with no daddy or multiple daddies is OK. Just the action of you posting a picture of someone with troubles far worse than you tell us all a lot about the person you are deep inside. You might think it's funny to laugh at others problems, but the fact remains it is happening to a LOT of Americans right now, that don't deserve or wanted it. I swear to GOD that that dog will love that guy with all his heart and soul. All the dog needs is a little hug and some food, and he will give that guy FAR more than any person ever could in his place. There is even the Rock Group Three Dog Night, whose name comes from an old Austrailian outback story of how to judge how could the night was. One dog - mild, two dogs - cool, and three dogs - a bitter night. Just you posting that picture says a lot about your character. I would rather know and love any dog over shaking your hand. Homeless is nothing to laugh at. I hope to God it never happens to you. Bruce Springsteen summed it up best "But there's things that will knock you down that you don't even see coming, And send you crawling like a baby back home. from his song "when you're alone".

I posted my previous response before I read yours. The picture clearly makes fun of homeless people. I hope that you are not so inclined. I'm sorry if there was any mis-understanding. Dogs are not meant to be discarded as an afterthought. If you actually get to know them and interact with them, they are amazing creatures. So are the homeless.

Actually, I see beauty in this picture. I do not feel that it is obviously making fun of the less fortunate by any means.

A person with ideas of referance that is inclined to injustice collecting, I assume would readily assume that it was.

I work in acute inpatient psychiatric.

So don't worry, I am quite accustomed to people making asses out of them selves by jumping to conclusions.

I also volunteer every time it get's bitterly cold up here in Oregon, by staffing Red Cross warming shelters.

I have 3 coats, 2 are tweed blazers that I wear to work & 1 is a leather jacket that I wear to play & weld. The rest I have given to the homeless that I find sleeping outside in the cold. The same is true with heavy blankets.

Every time I see a pan-handler at a freeway exit, weather or not they are obviously a tweeker, I wrap a cigarette in a dollar & give it to them. I don't see it as so much giving it to them so much as tithing, (giving it back to the Lord). Even if I am nearly broke I do this. If I am doing better, it is a 5.

Can you say the same?

You are the first that I have told this to, because I do it for the Lord. Not for the glory of men.

I mention it now, not to glorify myself, but to inspire you to follow your own apparent ideology.

Another thing, churches usually are the places that donate their basements, gymnasiums & heat to the Red Cross, so that we can operate the warming centers. (We take dogs too.) NEVER have I seen someone who didn't want to hear, being unduly persuaded by the faithful. In fact, in the churches, the church cooks breakfast for the homeless whereas, in the secular locations we run out of food to give them routinely.

I hang out at waterfront park at times right along side of the homeless, (of course I dress in my leather jacket & jeans, rather than blazer & slacks)

I see no dishonor in them.

In fact, if you ever volunteered at homeless shelters You would probably be surprised yourself at what the face of homelessness looks like.

I do however see dishonor in those who go to church, & proclaim to be Christian, then when asked, judge & reject the person.

Long story short... If you expect the worst out of people, it is usually because you posses the attributes that you quickly see in others.

This is called projecting.

Maybe you should get that checked out.

Now THAT, could be construed as joking about the homeless. :haha:

Remove the log from your own eye before commenting on the speck in your brothers.

Also check out my car... I am fortunate that it is my dream car, but I tend to have realistic goals. Also I value style over perceived value. My dream car cost less than $3,000 (Towncar). I don't exactly have cash to burn. And I personally have pondered long restless nights wondering were rent would come from.

Judge not, lest ye be judged.

Have a nice day.

P.S. You want a "Great" industry to be in, come recessionary times? Try my last profession... Large format lithographic printing. If you print high quality, like all my shops were, every time the economy drops 1/2 the shop gets laid off.

In this new society we must diversify our skill sets to survive, or we may find ourselves waiting for something that never comes back.

Sucks that I won't be buying Monroe Sensitrack shocks for my towncar, if their not made in the states anymore though. Bilstien will work though. I think their still here.

I don't know if I am an "injustice collector" as I have never heard that term before and am not familiar with it. I do talk in straight language that any layman can understand however, and have to say to you, that I am sorry for my misconceptions about your post and my accusations about you. I apologize. I am not one of the people that were formally employed at Monroe. That happened in a town 10 miles away, but will deeply affect the whole community. I do have a very decent job in the railroad industry. That being said, my newest vehicle is a 1988 Suburban. I drive it because I don't want to die in a deer collision in my commute to work 40 miles away in a rural region. It came in mighty handy last trip home when we had a huge amount of snow and there were times that you couldn't tell if you were on the road or not. I see people from time to time that "hop the trains" to get to another destination, and I offer them the bottled water that is provided to us as well as food that I take along for myself. I do not currently volunteer for any organization such as a food bank or anything, though they are available in my area. The Church comment came about because of a guy I was giving a ride to wanted to know of the local shelters in the area that were not Church oriented. He was out of a job and needed a place to stay. I ended up buying him food at a fast food place, and driving almost 50 miles to the nearest town that had a shelter. They aren't all over in this area. I don't go to Church anymore because of all the hypocrits that I saw go, profess their faith and then go out and cheat and swap partners. It seems to be an epidemic here. I don't automatically expect the worst out of people. I believe that most people are good, and want to do the right thing. I always strive to do above what people expect out of me. That's the way I was raised. I also apologise for all the cursing in my previous post, it really was uncalled for. There have been a couple of times in my life that I thought I would be homeless, and the picture that you posted seemed to be in poor taste with the captions on it. I don't really volunteer much, but if there is someone in need, I am the first one to lend a helping hand. I don't give to orginizations, because I would rather see 100% of my money go to those that need it the most, not some director of a "non-profit" orginization. I trust more homeless people than I do with those that have high paying jobs. They have nothing to lie for. Again, I apologize for the accusations.

That was stand up right there. Anyone that is willing to publicly apologize is alright in my book. And yes, the picture is very compelling with the "Unconditional Love" that only a dog can give to a human.

I am sorry for my misconceptions about your post and my assumptions.

No Problem Bro.

It did catch me a little off guard though.

As our board continues to grow... I ask myself and all of you....

Do we need the Fight Club Sub Forum?

What purpose does it serve?

People fight on this forum all the time. I think you should get rid of the fight forum and use your super-moderator powers to overwrite any moron posts to state: Deleted for inappropriate content.
