TIMTIMTIM 57
So I do valet part time while going to school. Last night was insanely busy downtown St.Petersburg. I was lucky enough to leave at 10:30. The guy who almost went home instead of me felt something hit his back. He thought it was a friend hitting him. Pretty soon he started bleeding. After going to the hospital it was determined he was hit in the side by a .22. It was determined that it struck him from an upward angle. He was ok but, was told by the doctor he needs to see a specialist to have it removed even though its not dangerous to leave in there.Chalk up another point for idiots in Florida! Be safe guys! physicsnerd 139
Glad he is OK. Interestingly enough this was a CTD blog post about this subject a few days ago. http://cheaperthandirt.com/blog/?p=16161
MT Predator 2,294
Reminds me of the Dirkas in Assramistan firing their Kalashnikovs into the air during wedding celebrations on full auto, then blaming NATO troops for attacking their wedding reception. Hope your coworker is ok.
ChileRelleno 7,071
There was so much gunfire last night, I was concerned about the possibility while standing on my back deck. Shir Happens!
frz1197 128
There was some amish girl killed down central pa a week or two ago from something like that. Some guy cleaning a gun shot up in the air. Came down and killed the girl a mile and a half away.

iarneau 44
That's what the 5 of us did, 12g birdshot over a cornfield. Never thought I'd be that guy lol. Gun Control- The theory that criminals (by definition, people who break laws) will follow a LAW that says they can't have a gun.

I can see the headlines now; "Bearded ginger wreaks havoc in local neighborhood". Two of my neighbors are LE, one police officer & one sheriff's deputy, and the County DA is over on the next block... We're all good neighbors. This New Years Eve, who do you think was lighting off the majority of the neighborhood's illegal fireworks? Yes, James the SD... And with all the other random gun shots and fireworks, no one will notice... Unless I can get it to bumpfire And we're a nice mid-upper mid class neighborhood.
MT Predator 2,294
Chile, let me look, I may have another BFA laying around you can have. To be honest, 5.56mm blanks don't pop as loud as you think they do with a BFA. Big fail on a bumpfire with an AR shooting blanks as well. A 7.62 AK with a BFA and blanks makes more noise! That'd be a bummer if the neighbor's kids made more noise with their Whistling Petes than I could with 5.56 blanks I didn't think there's enough recoil from blanks to bumpfire... Sounded good though. MT Predator 2,294
They are much louder without the BFA but you have to hand cycle each round. The BFA damn near blocks the muzzle on an AR and muffles most of the report. Sorry for the threadjack TTT.
