The super-stock I drove years back had a CO2 system, and some run Halon or Purple K(for the magnesium parts). The only downer is it's a one-shot system. As far as hand extinguishers, stick with a 10BC or similar(what truckers run). The little ones are good, but only have about a 5-10 second burst before you're empty. I got 2 10ABC extinguishers for the house from Costco for $19 each. Good deal on those fuel lines. Most people who buy used cars don't think to check all that rubber under the hood. Made a matress platform w/cabinet underneath and a sideways bench seat w/ storage, and it had a fold down back-rest for Rifle storage!! I am not done with it all, but this is todays finishing point.
