fast2gnt 16
Fold the other way option?
corbin 621
Two quick questions..... What is the LOP, or will different length of pull models be available? Will an ACE rubber pad fit these?
obiwanbonjovi 337
Fold the other way option? of course Two quick questions..... What is the LOP, or will different length of pull models be available? Will an ACE rubber pad fit these? we will offer differnet lengths, entry/warsaw/and nato. nato is pictured. an ace pad will fit and work, but does not match up cosmetically. We were not happy with the way ace stocks feel without a buttpad, so felt a redesign was necessary. I and many others prefer a metal butt for a military style weapon. We will be releasing a buttpad of our own, but it is a large investment, and will be several months away, we need to sell some stocks first. our buttpads will add a 1/2"
traintrax 12
Pricing with and without the hinge?
obiwanbonjovi 337
price with the hinge will be $149.99 for aks and saigas, $164.99 for veprs and psls. The stock is integral to the hinge, so it can't come without it. we can make an ace style front cap for it and may, but have not decided yet, as we consider our hinge to be far superior to the ace. filthygovemploye 64
forgive my un trained eye, but looks mightily like an ace stock... no foam? i was hoping for some mold breaking....not trying to dump on your hard wrok... looks like nice machining. obiwanbonjovi 337
it is very similar to the ace, both are copies of the galil stock. This is what my customers demanded, it is the most popular style of stock. What mine offers over an ace, is a far superior hinge system, and an integral, rather than bolt on stock. It is also lighter, and is designed to be used with or without a buttpad, whereas the ace is only any good with the pad. I also think our buttplate is more aesthetically pleasing, but then again I drew it so that I'd like it. we have another stock releasing about the same time, that uses a single large tube, rather than 2 smaller tubes. forgive my un trained eye, but looks mightily like an ace stock... no foam? i was hoping for some mold breaking....not trying to dump on your hard wrok... looks like nice machining. adjc 171
nice set up. is the block adapter needed (slant receiver) for mounting to the vepr, or will this be a all in one mount up stock? clean looking fit when folded.

obiwanbonjovi 337
it bolts right up to slant cut veprs, no other parts, or modifications to the firearm are needed. nice set up. is the block adapter needed (slant receiver) for mounting to the vepr, or will this be a all in one mount up stock? clean looking fit when folded. Matthew Hopkins 1,065
any plans to make one with a internal block? for those that cut off the tang and while I'm at it, I see no sling mounting point on your stock, any plans on having one on there? that was one of the reasons I went with a DPH stock rather then a ACE. Edited September 13, 2012 by Matthew Hopkins
obiwanbonjovi 337
there is a qd sling attachment point on the hinge. Sorry, no plans for a cut tang version. The reason we could keep our hinge so narrow, was by using extra length. A cut tang version couldn't be any shorter, so we see no reason to make one.
PLUMBER 6
It looks nice might be intrested in a black one , what does it weigh?
obiwanbonjovi 337
not quite 15 oz complete.
Jpanzer 1,265
What is the texture on the buttend like? Checkered? Been wanting a folder and I never cut the tang, this might be the one... Edited September 21, 2012 by Jpanzer
6500rpm 670
Nice job on the knuckle part, that looks to be the closest to a Galil I've seen. I still think a protective delron cover for the upper tube is a good option. A+ on the design-looks beefy for all aluminum.
buddharacing-1 2
It looks good. I also think some kind of cheek pad or protective cover would be good.
Jpanzer 1,265
Any chance of a sling attachment point on this stock?
obiwanbonjovi 337
there is a sling swivel mount on the hinge. I'm not sure where or why to put one on the stock since it is a folder, usually folders only mount slings at the hinge, so they can be carried folded.

That's essentially what I meant to ask anyway. Release it already so i can put it on my S12!
adjc 171
after one of these myself, i think it would look damn good on a slant cut vepr. putting one on a 7.62 when they hit the market! Edited September 30, 2012 by adjc
