ec4321 113
Izzy 8rd that did LRBHO. Any word on the other hi-cap mags, SGM?
alternety 7
Just a clarification. The gun in these pictures has a thread protector, as expected. The demo video has a muzzle brake. I don't believe that implies our guns will have one, but can anyone verify that. I, personally, only want the thread protector. I will put a GK-01 on it.
presto_z 125
I thought the vepr 12 had a bolt release, do the imported models not have this feature? or was it not shown in the video?
Atlantic Firearms.com 170
The shotgun in the video has a brake that is NOT included on the factory guns we are simply showing the gun in action and do not list a barke in the item description on our web site . iteachsurfing 50
I thought the vepr 12 had a bolt release, do the imported models not have this feature? or was it not shown in the video? Good question "PrestoZ" ... will there be a functioning Bolt Release ? One of the features that the American model will keep is the bolt hold open function. Moreover, there is a bolt release button just above the trigger. presto_z 125
I saw the pictures and knew that they used the same location as the Saiga bho, but didn't see this feature utilized in the video. I want to be sure that it's not a manual bho like on the s12.
sunnybean 939
Wasn't used in the video. The BHO is the button in the center of the rear of the magwell. The BHO release is in the same location as the BHO on a non-magwell version.

Basically The B.A.T.F. has decided that the rail under that front gas block, or the front hand guard for that matter, is of no use to anyone interested in hunting ducks or other game or to those who enjoy sporting clays or skeet and since their is obviously no other rational reason to posses a firearm beyond such sporting purposes you simply do not need such a rail and therefore it is not legal to import in this "non sporting" configuration. For the record : The word "sporting" never appears in the second amendment of the U.S. constitution Edited October 20, 2012 by defequisimo
