DresNightfire 39
What would you consider a proper break in for a brand new VEPR 12 after cleaning the factory cosmoline off and lubing it up on your own? Which kind of loads and how many?
presto_z 125
I ran 100rds of bulk birdshot from Walmart with no issues straight out of the box. No break in period required .. But if you really want to spend the money get a few boxes of high brass and run them through it.

Mullet Man 2,114
I threw it in the sand, ran it over and drug it down a rock road with the Jeep, then i clubbed a baby seal with it for good measure.

Lord Ak-47 49
I think 200 is a good number. Run 100 bulk through it and the other 100 mixed loads of buck, heavy brid shot & slugs. See how it reacts to each type. The ket is to see how consitent it is with the real cheap stuff since its most likely the main thing you will put through it for recreational use. TheDarkHorse 216
I broke on both my lowly saiga 12's with 200rds of birdshot. I just got off the phone with Chuck Norris and he said the vepr 12 doesn't need a break-in.
brad cole 65
Thank you CHUCK NORRIS !!!!!
Muffman 54
That's cause Chuck Norris can break in a Vepr 12 without firing a single shell. Dude can swim through land!! Edited November 17, 2012 by Muffman
