The Marine Corps has once again chosen to send me to another school....the Foreign Weapons Instructor School at Headquarters Marine Corps, Weapons Training Battalion in Quantico, VA!!

COURSE SUMMARY:

The Foreign Weapons Instructor Course (FWIC) was designed to correct identified shortfalls in pre-deployment training with respect to foreign weapon familiarity. The course trains Marines of all backgrounds in the utilization of these unfamiliar foreign weapon systems. The curriculum addresses foreign weapons handling skills, identification of foreign weapons, foreign weapons variants, inspection techniques to identify foreign weapons damage or sabotage, and zeroing procedures. This course will provide Unit Commanders with an additional resource of graduates (Marines) who have obtained the required knowledge, skills, and capability to conduct Foreign Weapons Small Arms training during unit deployments. In addition, the course will provide Unit Commanders with Marines who possess the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct and instruct training for foreign military personnel and/or units, on the most commonly encountered foreign weapons.

Formal periods of instruction are provided on:
- AK Series Weapons

Congrats to you! You have been sent to a very cool school. It was very interesting to learn about munitions from around the world, how they work, how to disarm them and most importantly... how to kill the enemy with their own shit.

Hooah Jar Head!

Get some!
