Wolverine 10,360
No individual responsibility spreads from one generation to the next like smallpox. With no morals, guidelines or boundaries they learn off the mean streets and do what they will until others are harmed and they go to the jail and eventually the big house over and over. It is a major social problem in America. How do you instill values in a person when their parents and grandparents failed to do so. They are destined for failure from birth on. That does not absolve them from from making good choices and obeying the law. But it does explain the culture and sheer numbers that end up in the slammer. You would think one visit to jail for 30 days or more would cure the average person through sheer learning the hard way. But for many, no such luck.
Spartacus 1,619
I'm guessing this bunch won't be voting for Trump. Sure would be nice if Border Patrol was allowed to do their job and deport these criminal families. It would also be great if Sheriff Joe Arpaio was named as Trump's VP running mate. They could clean up some of this shit in a big hurry. Would be great to see them clean house over at DOJ too. Won't happen.
gunfun 3,931
Funny, cause "Ain't none of my fault" might be a direct quote of trump each time a business he runs fails. (on purpose) I have Zero respect for that guy. Also, I have more money than him, since I only owe about 10x my yearly earning ability at the present. Did you know that he took a huge loss of ownership when one of his companies had a pretty much unanimous vote of the board and investors to fire him? The deal he made was that he would sell them enough stock to end his majority holding so long as he could keep the title CEO without any power to do anything. He also doesn't believe in keeping his word. You don't have to look at how many times he said "I do" to tacky trollops, and didn't mean it. Just look at his book "Art of the Deal" He BRAGS about screwing anyone who does business with him. His business model that he has used, and advocates in that book is roughly this: Step 1) Trade on name to get a huge project going. 2) Sign a contract that is so big, your business partners will fail if it doesn't go through. Make sure All their eggs are in this basket. Step 3) do the same thing in a few other deals, so that you get unarguably overextended. Step 4) go to your business partners and say, "so guys. I know I signed a contract that says I will pay you $X, but I am basically bankrupt. (or I just filed for bankruptcy...) Either you agree to new contract in which you get $(1/3)X, or I will make sure the bankruptcy is so drawn out that you will go out of business. 5) Rinse and repeat. The guy manages to lose money operating a CASINO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This man is a terrible joke, and shouldn't be in charge of anything as complicated as dressing himself in the morning. Please don't waste public attention on men who lack even the basest integrity.
Photoguy 202
Maybe Trump isn't as interested in the Presidency as he's letting on. Maybe he's angling for some sort of gain, a 'What will you(the GOP) give me to go away?' ploy? The guy is making an ass out of himself to many, but he's incredibly popular, so, barring something catastrophic to his aims, he can command a price to disappear. Maybe a tax break here, or a favorable vote there..

You would think one visit to jail for 30 days or more would cure the average person through sheer learning the hard way. But for many, no such luck. True. Lack of individual responsibility has become society's contagion. As children we ( three brothers ) had less than ideal parents. My father raised us not too sober in an area most might call ghetto. However, we overcame our disadvantage -- not without bumps in the road -- by using our disadvantage to our advantage. I'm surprised we made it in life. One brother, kicked out of high school two weeks prior to graduation. He became E5 in the Navy on the Missouri during the Gulf War, went to college and became a Captain in the USAF. He was accepted into med school and wanted to write a book titled "GED to Med School." I miss him. Gone from a heart attack too very young. Other brother became an officer in the USAF and did quite well. I became a professional student and did ok. Three degrees and still looking to find my way. I can't say what saved us as children but, I am certainly trying to be a good parent and husband. So far it's working! I guess the moral of this rant is that if one chooses to breed, regardless of circumstances, be the parent all over them. Teach your kids well. Some come out of the shit like shit -- the usual. Some live to do good.

gunfun 3,931
He believes in big government. The difference is he believes he should be in charge instead of the other guys. We have far better alternatives available. Walker, or even more politician types like Cruz or Rubio. I have seen Rubio do a fair amount of politicking and Cruz has that sort of artificial Ken-Doll aspect to him that so many politicians have. Any of those 3 would do at least an OK job, and I think Walker actually has real backbone. Better to invest some hope in one of them, than to 'vote for the wrong lizard.' (Douglas Adams reference, not tinfoil belief in the scaly folk.- I wish it wasn't necessary to clarify that, but the internet is what it is.)

I'll take walker or rand or Rubio or Cruz , the right needs to get their splintered shit together though
Heartbreaker 1,085
I am exceedingly grateful that I have good parents who worked me over til I turned out decent. They also gave me a lot of common sense and a few tons of salt. Two very important and desperately lacking commodities today.
