Hammer doesnt lock back after conversion

You let him off way to easy.

 

 

I had a good little laugh to myself. Not because he didn't know any better, but just seeing the picture of the hammer in backwards. Maybe the next one won't get off the hook that easily, but we all have to start somewhere. smile.png

It occurs to me that the only reason the underside is curved is so that it can ONLY work right side up. Otherwise with flat wings, it would kinda work upside down and the armorers would be going nuts.

Yes, but from an engineering stand point, that is a clever bit of "idiot proofing" designed to reduce the number of things that need to be eliminated on  trouble shot later. I can respect that. Something tells me the early versions were a flat bar stock with a flat wing inserted and welded.

I can't really see that. The back would more than likely have to be rounded, or at least tapered, to work with the disconnector. Especially with the double hooks.
